• Has good theoretical and practical understanding of Ayurveda therapies and massage techniques as required of an Ayurveda Therapist. Additional knowledge of other therapies would be a benefit
• To implement the right rhythm of the hand movements / right pressure applied / right pressure points focused and right direction of strokes applied                                                         
• Has extensive knowledge of human body & its parts and accordingly apply the strokes as per specific treatment line         
• Has good knowledge of the natural herbs and condiments that are used for creation of Herbal Potlis / Pouches used for specific Ayurveda treatments                                                  
• Has good knowledge of Ayurveda principles and its applications                        
• Able to identify illnesses, injuries & diseases & know whether massage / therapy is appropriate in each situation
• Adhere to the Medical Contraindications (based on individual case ) with respect to Therapies  & Appliances as guided by the Doctor, Physiotherapist, Wellness Counselor and Dietician prior to giving the respective session 
• Maintain infection control standards in massage / therapy rooms     
• Effectively perform body massage / other therapy as per treatment SOP and guidelines - Strokes / Pressure points / Duration / Type and quantity of product used                
• Able to apply the strokes with varied pressure as per the treatment protocol.                                                  
• Assist the Doctor / Physio / Wellness Counselor / Dietitian during assessments
