Head of Agri Sourcing & Sustainability

Our client is a leading starch manufacturing company in Thailand. The company provides a wide range of starch products including modified starch, tapioca starch, and noodle product s as well as biodegradable packaging .

Now the company is seeking a suitable candidate for the position of Head of Agri Sourcing & Sustainability to join the fast-growing team and work across the APAC region .

Job Description

• Being responsible for driving, growing, and enabling the f arm a gri culture team to grow and source a reliable supply of tapioca according to the company’s goal to cover Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, and upcoming markets in the future.
• Monitoring sourcing , agronomy, sustainability, and innovation program performance and activities to identify key improvement areas and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborating with business partners , farmers, and cross-functional teams including commercial , operations, supply chain, R&D, e tc. academics, and start-ups across the region.
• Initiating & developing long-term and yearly plans to grow sourcing and farm development an d overall farm supply chain strategy strategies across the Southeast Asia region .
• Delive ring and driving strat egic sourcing & executi on as well as build ing a sustainable supply chain .
• Ensuring and strengthening the foundation of data and analytics for farm sourcing and sustainability. Provid ing insights and foresight on market situations through data analytics
• W ork ing across APAC countries to driv e collaboration effectively across diverse teams and regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Agriculture, Supply Chain and related .
• At least 10 years of experience in agri-sourcing strategy and supply chain background.
• Experience in leading cross-functional and regional teams.
• Possess strong l eadership and communication skills, strategic, critical, and analytical thinking, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent Interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external partners.
• Strong organizational skills and project management skills.
• Good communication and proficiency in English skills, verbal and written.
