Mechanical/Chemical Engineer

Our client operates a cutting-edge renewable energy Power Plant in Nakhon Sawan Province. Their advanced system specializes in converting agricultural waste into electrical energy through gasification.

Job Description

• Leading and supervising a team of operators during assigned shifts.
• Monitoring and controlling the gasification process and related equipment to maintain optimal efficiency and safety.
• Performing routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical and chemical systems.
• Collaborating with the engineering team to identify and implement improvements in plant operations.
• Ensuring compliance with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies.
• Training and mentoring junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Maintaining accurate records of shift activities, including process data and equipment status.
• Reporting any incidents, deviations, or equipment malfunctions promptly and follow up with corrective actions.
• Participating in periodic plant maintenance activities and shutdowns.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or chemical Engineer, age up to 40 years old.
• 2-5 years of experience in the Power Industry, alternatively Oil and Gas Industry.
• Can communicate proficiently in English.
• Willing to work in a Rotating Shift pattern.
• Hands-on guy, not afraid of physical work.
• Lead a team of two or three Operators.
• Ensure the safe operation of the plant and maximize run time with the help of a modern SCADA program.
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repair/cleaning works.
• Must be able to read drawings and P&ID diagrams as well as get information from English language documentation.
