Process Engineer

Our client is a leading specialist in the plastic packaging business in Thailand with 40 years of experience in the industry.

Job Overview

• Being responsible for analyzing and improving the production process.
• Supervising and supporting Production Engineers.
• Leading projects related to new product trials, original product development, and Development of quality, cost, and delivery safety as well as improving the efficiency of the machine together with the production and maintenance department.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and developing production processes for maximum efficiency to improve productivity.
• Supervising and supporting production engineers in production operations to reduce mistakes in production operations.
• Being a leader in various projects related to testing new products and developing existing products with research and development departments and production departments to be able to formulate practical production guidelines.
• Planning and controlling improvements and increasing the efficiency of machines in the production department for maximum efficiency to decrease breakdown in operation. 
• Creating projects and managing projects to manage the quality of the production process for maximum efficiency to reduce complaints about products from customers.
• Preparing projects and managing projects for the development and improvement of production process efficiency measures by % OEE.
• Preparing projects and managing projects to control and supervise the safety management of the use of machinery and equipment in the production process.
• Preparing projects and managing projects for the development and enhancement of the capabilities of engineering personnel.
• Preparing projects and managing projects to reduce waste in the production process.

Qualifications

• Experience 5 + years as Process Engineer to improve the production process in the Plastic, Packaging, and Polymer industry or related field.
• Good command of English to read & write emails and documentation.
• Able to work every other Saturday.
• Working days: Mon-Fri and every other Saturday.
• Working hours: 8.00-17.40
