Process Improvement Specialist

Our client is a leading cast acrylic sheet and other extruded plastic sheet producer in Thailand.

Job Description

• Contributing, as a member of the management team and operations leadership, to improve the operations efficiencies and being a key part of operations excellence as per over strategies.
• Preparing plans and budgets for the operations function so that it has sufficient resources to achieve its agreed objectives.
• Taking ownership of all processes & productivity sessions & activities within the operations team to deliver the cost & efficiency improvement annual commitments.
• Directing and identifying the improvement (the healthy) opportunity pipeline,  and then steering & engage the employees within operations to utilize the productivity tools such as 6S, Lean, and Kaizen in the Production process, Quality control process, Engineering/ Maintenance (Equipment) process, EHSQ processes to deliver/ realize the Cost & Efficiency improvement.
• Aligning with Finance and Sr. Managers on the Productivity tracking process for full transparency & review/ monitoring management process.
• Ensuring that all responded activities meet company standards concerning Health, Safety, etc., and ensuring the company’s obligations and policies in these areas fully comply with local law, business requirements, and standard as ISO9001, ISO14001, TIS18001, and others which were issued.

Requirements

• Engineering Background (Industrial engineering is a plus).
• Experience in process and productivity improvement in chemical, reactor, plastic, and petrochemical manufacturing.
• Leadership.
