Quotation Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring the cost of materials, labor costs, and other expenses to ensure that they do not exceed budgeted amounts.
• Evaluating design proposals to determine which one best meets client requirements while staying within budget parameters.
• Preparing material requisitions to ensure that contractors have enough materials to complete their work.
• Examining purchasing contracts to ensure compliance with government regulations regarding contracting rules, laws, and policies.
• Conducting cost analyses on proposals to determine whether the proposed solution is feasible or whether modifications should be made.
• Determining the cost of labor, materials, equipment, and other resources necessary for construction projects such as buildings or pipelines
• Recommending changes to improve efficiency based on cost analysis results.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 2 – 5 years’ experience as a Quotation Engineer or Costing Engineer.
• Strongly understanding of reading spec and Boms definition .
• Experienced in sourcing material.
• Background in Assembly, Lean Manufacturing and IPC 620.
• Strongly analytical to collect and analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decision.
• Good command in English (TOEIC 550)
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Experience in using SAP.
• Good at Excel
