Work you will do

This position is for hire in the Strategy Growth and Innovation Unit - AI & Data Unit which aims to support the management of Japanese companies operating in Southeast Asia. Japanese Client Services (JCS) is one of the largest consulting practices in Southeast Asia for Japanese companies. We are looking for people who can play an active role in this position at the following levels of experience and positions:

Background of the birth of this position

In recent years, Japanese companies have become increasingly eager to invest in Southeast Asia, a major economic region with a population approaching 700 million.
As the business of Japanese companies expanding into Southeast Asia has grown and diversified, there has been an increase in consultations for transformation using digital, especially AI and data, and our division has continued to grow steadily over the past three years. For many companies in Southeast Asia, AI trial activity has come full circle and they have moved to the execution phase, where they incorporate it into their operations as a fundamental component that supports business competitiveness and efficiency.

Enough about us, let's talk about you

If you are someone with:

• A good honors Degree, preferably at postgraduate level, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or related disciplines.
• Preferably experience in Big 4 or MNC Consulting firm or industry equivalent role.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.

• Being able to actively engage in business development, proposal and project delivery while actively communicating with diverse stakeholders

• Analytics and data expertise

Specialty

Have knowledge and experience of any of the following:

1. Knowledge of data strategy and architecture
   Knowledge and experience in corporate data strategies, organizations to achieve them, data governance, data management processes, and architecture
    
2. Implementation experience including BI/Data Lake/DWH/ETL/data governance

• Consulting or implementation experience related to BI (Tableau, Looker, Power BI, etc.) data visualization
• Consulting or implementation experience in Data Lake, DWH, ETL and other data engineering
• Consulting or implementation experience related to data governance
• Consulting or implementation experience related to MDM  

      3. Customer Data Platform deployment experience

• Consulting or deployment experience with CDP using GCP, AWS, Azure, etc

      4. Knowledge and experience in Analytics/AI  

• Knowledge of data science (statistics, machine learning, etc.) and experience in data analysis programming such as Python and R, or development and implementation using AutoML such as Data Robot

• AI operational experience such as MLOp
  

Language requirements:

• Thai native level and English business level or higher

• or English native level and Thai business level or higher

Welcome (WANT)
Presumed image of human resources

• Has consulting experience in data strategy, data platform (GCP, AWS, Azure), data management, BI, Analytics and AI in consulting firms
• Has experience building data platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure), data management, BI, Analytics and AI for IT vendors, and is qualified as a consultant
• Has consulting experience in the manufacturing industry, including the automotive industry
• Japanese Business Level and above

In addition to strong client service orientation, we are also seeking talented leaders who have the capability to deliver quality solutions with superior analytical and problem solving skills. Besides excellent interpersonal and communication skills, candidates should have proven demonstration of sound business acumen, teamwork and leadership qualities. An appreciation of the consulting lifestyle and ability to travel is a pre-requisite. 

Positions may be based in Thailand  but project locations could be anywhere in the Asia-Pacific Region.
