Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Our client is a manufacturer in the automotive manufacturing industry .

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working closely with customers for existing & new projects to meet specifications & requirements with the best quality in class.
• Leading the customer complaints and supplier quality issue investigation and working with the team to develop a proactive action plan to drive quality, continuous improvement activities.
• Overseeing the leading team during the validation of processes and products to ensure they are in good condition and stable before releasing them to production.
• Developing, implementing, communicating, and maintaining a quality plan and system to bring the Company’s Quality Management Systems and Policies into compliance with quality system requirements ensuring that they meet audit requirements.
• Maintaining quality assurance standards and procedures including testing and maintenance methods, procedure, data collection, and tractability.
• Managing related audits and ensuring compliance with the government.
• Being a champion to implement 6 sigmas, DOE, and SPC in the organization.
• Being responsible for supplier management, IQC/In-process/OQC quality management.
• Taking ownership of quality assessments and internal quality audits.
• Regular quality tracking and updating quality log based on defect information customer complaints and 8D for new models.
• Maintain drawings & specifications that define the new model product & quality standards.
• Establish process document to execute and flawlessly launch APQP and PPAP.
• Perform reliability studies on all measuring/ testing equipment used in the production process under MSA.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree or higher in the Engineering field.
• At least 5 years of working experience as a Quality Engineer in the automotive industry.
• Experience in the European automotive manufacturing industry is an advantage.
• IATF 16949 Lead Auditor / VDA 6.3 Process Audit Certification is an advantage .
• Good command of English (writing, listing, and speaking).
• Strong knowledge of Core Tools (APQP, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, and MSA).
• Solid background in IATF 16949, VDA, and ISO 14001.
• Interpersonal skills with corroboration with the customer and internal organization.
• Ability to present data effectively, Problem-solving skills, and Teamwork skills.
