Our client is the leading producer of high-quality acrylic sheets established over 30 years.

The Site Maintenance Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our manufacturing facility. This role will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance professionals, implementing preventive and corrective maintenance programs, optimizing equipment reliability, and managing facility and utility systems. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading, manage, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians and engineers.
  • Developing and implementing maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  • Coordinating and prioritizing maintenance activities to ensure the uninterrupted production process.
  • Developing and managing the maintenance budget, and controlling costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety among the maintenance team.
  • Collaborating with other departments, including production, engineering, and quality control, to meet production targets and quality standards.
  • Evaluating and procuring necessary maintenance equipment, tools, and spare parts.
  • Maintaining accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Implementing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure maintenance effectiveness.
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment issues and implementing corrective actions.
  • Staying up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in maintenance and reliability.
  • Overseeing the maintenance and operation of facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Managing utility systems, such as power distribution, water treatment, and waste management, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Implementing energy-saving initiatives and sustainability practices within the facility.
  • Collaborating with external contractors and vendors for facility and utility maintenance and repairs.
  • Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations related to facility and utility operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or electrical engineering.
  • 10 years experience in maintenance management from Chemical manufacturing, preferably in plastics production.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of maintenance management including preventive maintenance, safety process, and process improvement.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices align with environmental law.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to work alternative Saturday (2 times per month).
