**Senior Trade Compliance Analyst**
**Bangkok, Thailand**
As a Senior Trade Compliance Analyst here at Honeywell, you will have a significant impact on the company's global operations and success. Your role will involve ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, which is crucial for the smooth flow of cross-border transactions. By developing and implementing trade compliance policies and procedures, you will contribute to minimizing risks and avoiding penalties related to import and export violations.
In this role, you will impact Honeywell's ability to navigate international trade regulations, maintain compliance, and facilitate the seamless movement of goods across borders. Join us in shaping the future of trade compliance and making a difference in the world.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Oversee and ensure compliance with all import and export regulations, including Customs requirements and international trade laws.
+ Manage duty savings and utilize Free Trade Agreements to optimize operational efficiency and cost savings.
+ Manage and oversee the performance of Customs broker include but not limited to brokerage contract, Customs documentation, record keeping, monthly report and broker assessments.
+ Conduct internal audits to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions.
+ Support various Honeywell business on their import and export formalities.
+ Participate in assigned projects related to trade compliance and collaborating with cross-functional teams across the organization.
+ Liaise with government authorities to resolve compliance issues.
+ Manage external audits and queries from Customs and business related to HTS code and ECCN classification, Customs valuation, Incoterms, free trade agreements and country of origin determination.
**YOU MUST HAVE**
+ Minimum 3-5 years of experience in trade compliance, import/export operations, and international business.
+ Bachelor degree in international business, logistics and supply chain or law.
+ Strong knowledge of import and export regulations, including customs laws, and sanctions.
+ Experience in managing trade compliance programs, including classification, and compliance audits.
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex regulations and provide practical solutions.
+ Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including customs authorities and regulatory agencies.
+ Ability to read engineering and technical specifications and translate to local language when required.
+ Ability to support Honeywell stakeholders remotely.

**Key Experience & Capabilities:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical), Industrial Management, or a related field.
+ 5+ years of experience in industrial automation, process control, or field instruments (pressure transmitters, sensors) sales, with a proven track record of exceeding targets.
+ Strong understanding of industrial instrumentation, process industries, and pressure measurement technologies.
+ Demonstrated ability to mentor junior sales representatives or lead cross-functional project teams.
+ Expertise in contract negotiation, P&L management, and understanding of industrial procurement processes.
+ Willingness to travel extensively (often 50-75%) within the assigned territory.
