**Job Overview**
Representative of Ops to align the project target (capital, cost, timeline, capacity) with PM/PJM, lead Ops team to ensure successful execution of project plan and meet project targets. Staff PJE should have proper leadership on project planning and control, high skills of coordination and comunications, proper knowledge of marketing of TE business, proper knowledge of manufacture process and costing and capacities analysis and resource balance, also provide guidance to new coming engineers or junior engineers.

+ Identify/align projects goals and scope with PJM and PM, breakdown tasks of tooling/process developments and qualification
+ Make/align tooling development and qualification timeline, assign tasks to Ops team include tooling development, materials purchase
+ Track and manage project team to execute project progress based on committed project schedule
**Project Cost**
+ Lead Ops to simulate sample cost and production cost to achieve project landing zone target, lead Ops to optimize launch cost to the best
+ Budget and control scrap cost through leverage design and manufacturing process to meet project target during NPI phase
**Project Execution**
+ Guide capacity planning, materials sourcing and manpower to support all builds in the plant.
+ Oversee the progression of tooling/process development, identify bottleneck and issues, organize Ops team to improve those bottleneck and issues.
+ Oversee risks assessment in project execution, stay interlock with PJM to make matigation plan and conduct the planned activities in Ops.
+ Finalize the Safe Launch plan for the appropriate mix of product, tool capability and demand with the approval of the PjM, Quality, MDPE, and PjE. a. Lead Safe Launch team meetings to assure successful HVM startup and manufacturing process qualification for attainment of required metrics for successful G5 handoff.
+ Align the budget with Ops team with the tooling list provided by MPDE-A, control total capital spending against CER.
+ Lead and coordinate line setup to conduct LVM sample builds and coordinate HVM tool builds.
+ Lead Ops to make ramp up plan, include materials, operations and tool capacity ramp up, ensure manufacture team take over production control smoothly after G5.
**Product Sustaining**
+ Product migration, as a receiving or sending leader to execute product move in or move out, including project timeline, investment, cost control, machine/material/manpower preparation, safety stock, safe launch, etc.
+ Lead product capacity analysis and expand it through re-investment per estimation.

+ Provide guidance to new coming engineers or junior engineers

**Summary**
The Lead Engineer, Hardware Design works with cross functional teams with other designers, customers, manufacturing engineering and project leadership to ensure robust and high quality product development. Enhance designs with feedback from reviews in areas such as manufacturing, test, supply chain, reliability, industrial design and simulations. Provide support throughout the manufacturing process of the electrical/mechanical system that they have designed.
The Lead Engineer, Hardware Design (Electrical) develops new electrical systems/circuits for various applications. Research system ideas and draw up plans for these systems, and capture them in schematics and system specifications. Test, simulate, validate and qualify their systems and make adjustments as needed
The Lead Engineer, Hardware Design (Mechanical) develops new mechanical systems/modules and maintains existing designs. Research mechanical concepts and create system solutions using 3D modeling and simulation software. Complete calculations and test, validate, and qualify their systems and make adjustments as needed.
**Detailed Description**
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
+ Design, develop and implement technical solutions in two or more technical areas. Lead smaller projects and may coordinate with other engineers including reviews of their work.
+ Review and interpret customer documentation, conduct appropriate research, analysis and experiments with minimal direction from senior staff.
+ Creates technical proposals (solution and timelines) based on requirements.
+ Research systems ideas and will draw up plans for these systems
+ Design, modify and implement systems that meet customer and Celestica needs.
+ Create designs in line with Celesticas procedures, regulations and customer standards
+ Keep up to date with relevant industry knowledge and regulations
+ Solve complex problems
+ Liaison with suppliers, customers, contractors, and other internal teams.
+ Recommend system modifications
Electrical:
+ PCB layout Design, Schematic by using Allegro Candence Software
+ Participate in HW/Layout review
+ PCB stack up review
+ Work with the Electrical and Mechanical Engineers to ensure the design meets all requirements from an electrical performance and mechanical enclosure perspective.
+ Create and export manufacturing files ( drawing, gerber ) and review DFM/DFT with Manufacturing team
**Knowledge/Skills/Competencies**

+ Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, or equivalent experience.
+ 10+ years experience of PCB high speed layout design using industry standard PCB design.
+ Experience with using Allegro Cadence software.
+ Experience with high current density designs.
**Physical Demands**
+ Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
+ Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
+ Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
+ Occasional travel may be required.

Job Purpose
Project Engineer is a vital role who leads and manages engineering projects and new equipment installations that support manufacturing excellence, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
Project Engineer also applies Equipment Management principles, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring new equipment and systems are designed for optimal performance, maintainability, and compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
Main Responsibilities:
+ Lead and coordinate engineering projects with global team, ensure project delivery meets safety and food quality standard (e.g., GMP/GHP, HACCP), output target, and cost-effectiveness within budget.
+ Lead, monitor, report project progress, CAPEX spending and ensure timely completion.
+ Manage proposal development, design and development of mechanical and other technical within project, planning, scheduling, resource allocation, procurement, and execution.
+ Address technical issues and project challenges, providing solutions to keep the project on track
+ Develop and implement technical standards aligned with User Requirement Specifications (URS).
+ Ensure documentation, training, and handover processes are in place for project execution and smooth transition to operations.
+ Conduct Management of Change (MOC), Risk Assessments and implement mitigation strategies for responsible projects.
+ Promote and enforce safety and quality awareness throughout all project phases.
+ Apply Early Equipment Management (EEM) to ensure new equipment is designed for reliability, maintainability, and operability.
+ Lead activities such as FMEA, vertical start-up planning, and equipment capability assessments.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EEM deliverables into project timelines.
+ Communicate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, production teams, vendors, and contractors on technical requirements and decisions alignment under uncertainty.
+ Identify and extend best practices across production lines.
+ Drive value engineering to enhance operational efficiency.
Candidate Criteria
Skill & Qualification:
+ Strong knowledge of manufacturing project management and analytical tools is a must
+ Understanding complex mathematical concepts and being able to initiate improvement
+ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously through the full project lifecycle
+ Agility and able to work under pressure, expectation, and limited time frame
+ Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office program, and related programs
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD is required, Naviswork or other related programs is a plus
+ Proficiencies in SAP, Power BI, and data visualization is a plus
+ Energetic, working in a dynamic environment and good interpersonal skills

+ Lead Healthcare Project Management (HPM) team in Singapore, Malaysia & Indirect Countries to deliver excellence in "wing to wing" project management services including design, construction, as needed and installation activities.
+ Ensure team adheres to EHS, quality, regulatory and controllership requirements including timely completion of trainings also.
+ Understand revenue recognition guidelines & enables delivery to target for the region.

+ Must have the basic knowledge and understanding of project scheduling & execution
+ Candidate should have solution-oriented approach with customer focus
