Job Description
**Position Purpose(Overview of the position)**
Responsible to Lead/Support for all Paint facility works related to capacity and new programs within IMG Region (FTM, FVL, AAT, PAP & SAP). From the conceptual solution through to execution and commissioning, facilitating communication with Plant, Suppliers, Purchasing, IT, Body, TCF, Ford Land and VME. Responsible for monitoring of new and recurring quality and volume related issues coming from the facility and feeding that information and solution into VME and Supplier forums. The position is responsible for continually feeding lessons learnt from Lead Plant into the design of new Paint facilities both at a regional and global level.
+ Manage and deliver all planned maintenance and facility upgrades for all Paint facilities across FTM,FVL, AAT and support regional team in SAP.
+ Supervise activities through subordinates and contractors to ensure completion of assignments that will minimize downtime, coordinate activities of VME Engineering department concerning process and project.
+ Lead to achieve key performance indicator of VOME department objectives (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People, Maintenance), within FTM, FVL, AAT Paint plants (support for SAP) and review on a monthly basis to ensure key metrics are met.
+ Support the needs of VME group with Energy, VOC and Sustainability Management to ensure that corporate strategies are common/standard, communicated, understood and acted upon.
+ Supervising the execution of projects with Project engineers to ensure safety & quality aligned per Ford standards, and facilitating to complete the project within the time line as per the signed off requirements.
+ Management of as built drawings, utility equipment manuals, technical documents, testing reports. Establishing drawing management & storage system for control & quick retrieval of the drawing.
+ Support all capacity and program studies with facility required inputs, including costs for FTM, FVL and AAT plants (support for SAP)
+ Manage approved investment and expenditure budgetary by tracking, monitoring and reporting it to Team manager.
+ React and review facility lessons learnt feedback through global VOME group and at the same time provide inputs to this forum from FTM lessons learnt.
+ Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
+ At least 5 to10 years of direct work experience or related fields, 2 years of work experience in managing facility works.
+ To organize subordinates and contractors to plan and execute facility changes while ensuring the newly launched facility is in a good condition to support production operations.
+ To control actions that are being implemented and guiding those actions to meet objectives of the department.
+ Experience of working in maintaining plant equipment and facility service in large international manufacturers, Experience of working in any Green field or Brown field setting of Automobile Projects.
+ Project Management, Plant Engineering, Electrical design and control, Energy management and Quality control.
+ Communication, Coordination, Human Relation, Adaptability, Problem Solving, Service mind and Presentation skills.
+ Familiar with PLCs, IT and Control systems and related equipment, Paint and Sealing Automation, PT - ED process equipment and auxiliary plant to support. Familiar with Oven controls and process.
+ Need to work under pressure, deadline and minimum supervision, with direct manager in a different country.
+ Need to be able to analyze a situation, generate an idea and move concept into design and implementation to improve original engineered design.
