Our client is a leading pig farming firm seeking a qualified professional to support animal health and farm biosecurity management.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing biosecurity protocols to prevent and control the spread of animal diseases within the farm.
• Monitoring animal health conditions daily, identifying potential risks, and coordinating with veterinarians for treatment and preventive measures.
• Conducting regular farm inspections to ensure compliance with biosecurity, hygiene, and welfare standards.
• Training farm staff on animal health management, disease prevention practices, and emergency response procedures.
• Maintaining accurate records of animal health, vaccination schedules, and biosecurity activities for reporting and audits.
• Collaborating with farm management and external agencies to improve overall herd health, productivity, and farm biosecurity systems.

Qualifications

• Possessing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Veterinary Science.
• Being a licensed veterinarian with a valid professional license for livestock farming.
• Having a minimum of 1–3 years of experience working in pig farms.
• Demonstrating strong skills in animal management, disease diagnosis, treatment, and technical support.
• Holding additional training certificates related to GAP, Biosecurity, ISO, Quality Systems, or medical treatment programs in pig farming (considered an advantage).
