**Responsibilities:**
+ Maintain current processes and procedures in accordance with ISO/IATF16949 requirement

+ Optimize productivity by designing, implementing and testing new procedures.

+ Serve as a bridge between Production and Tool Shop in the implementation of new processes and in the designing of new or modifying jigs and fixtures
+ Investigate and troubleshoot any problems that arise with processes, procedures, and operation
+ Supervise and lead Manufacturing Technicians/Machine Setters in their duties
+ Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing system while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs and changeovers
+ Contributes to departmental efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
+ Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems, advise on corrective-, preventive actions & develop innovative solutions
+ Attend various meetings and action/communicate instructions
+ Coordinate closely with other colleagues in ERNI group for product/project transferring, sales or quality issues

**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering field --- preferable in Industrial / Manufacturing / Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic engineering or related fields

+ 8-12 years' working experience in supplier quality or in related quality function areas, working experience in connector, Cable assembly, Cage assembly, Antenna manufacturing is a plus.
+ Have advanced knowledge of the supplier management, certified ISO9001/IATF16949 internal auditor is preferred.
+ Clear understanding of connector, cable assembly, antenna, busbar quality and requirements, including measurement techniques, would be a distinct advantage.
+ Strong root cause analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Good knowledge in quality tools such as BKM, Cpk, SPC,8D, FMEA, Gage R&R, Poka Yoke.
+ Demonstrated negotiation skills, good communication in bridging between TE and suppliers as quality side

**Job Requirements**
TE Connectivity is seeking a MGR II MFG & PROCESS DVL AUTOMATION for Data & Device BU with location in Thailand. The MPDE Automation Manager will lead a team of automation engineers tasked with developing assembly processes for high-speed cable assemblies and coordinating with the Thailand manufacturing engineering team on the transition to mass production.
Responsibilities: Allocate and balance the allocation of work across direct reports; review and provide timely performance feedback to direct reports; mentor, develop and motivate them; help resolve people/functional issues in the team to achieve targeted performance and retain key talent.
**Lead a team of engineers who will:**
+ Develop cable assembly automation lines in accordance with LEANPD product development
+ Drive for excellence in existing automation technologies and methods
+ Strive to implement new automation technologies to provide improved process and tolerance control
+ Support Product Development in the optimization designs (DFM) and piece parts for automation manufacturability; realizes proof of concept tooling, product samples and prototypes.
+ Design, develop, and qualify tooling and processes to meet TE Data and Devices quality and production standards.
+ Support supply chain to verify supplier compliance and capability.
+ Act as the binding element between product development and automation engineering, ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of this critical interface.
+ Maintain communication with project management team to understand current and future strategic business needs
+ Prioritize and time manage a portfolio of projects/work efforts based on criticality and business need
+ Provide readouts to Director and VP level cross function management as necessary
+ Work with Thailand operations team to assign resources necessary for the successful execution of new automation development
+ Facilitate and coordinate cross-function communication across globally matrixed organization
+ Managing the planning, documentation, implementation, support and maintenance of manufacturing processes, procedures, machinery and tooling to improve efficiency, cost effectiveness, quality and safety.
+ Researching on process performance data to identify and implement process changes that improve yield, runtime, quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
+ Managing the activities and resources for manufacturing engineers, product design, and support personnel.
+ Providing ongoing support for manufacturing problems and deficiencies; troubleshooting technically challenging production problems
**Qualifications:**
1. Bachelor or above degree with mechanical/electric related majors;
2. At least 5 years related experience managerial level in multinational manufacturing site;
3. Familiar with **Lean, Six Sigma** . etc. industrial methods/tools;
4. With 2 years or above work experience in cable assembly automation is preferred;
5. Fluent in English and good presentation skills;
6. Familiar with MS software;
7. Familiar with industrial specification (i.e. IPC 620)

**Job Overview**
TE Connectivity's Supplier Development Teams find and develop suppliers to support the strategic sourcing organization in driving incremental performance in supplier quality, delivery, price and service. They teach new suppliers on how to work with TE (portal access, e-procurement tool usage, TE procedures, etc.). They extend TE Operational Advantage into the supply base to generate continuous improvement in the extended value stream, deliver incremental improvements through supplier development lead projects and achieve improvement targets specific for supplier development. They also help drive selection and development of the best total cost supply option in the region where the commodity or service is consumed. They keep abreast of emerging market options and inform the broader procurement organization of trends and new supply options.

**Responsibilities:**
Lead cross-functional teams to develop and improve supplier capabilities, ensuring alignment with TE's strategic goals in quality, cost, delivery, technology, and sustainability.
**1. Strategic Leadership & Cross-Functional Coordination**
+ Drive supplier development initiatives by leading Souring, SQE, MPDE, Engineering, and other stakeholders to assess, qualify, and improve suppliers.
+ Facilitate alignment between functions (e.g., Quality's audit standards, Procurement's commercial requirements, Engineering's technical specs) to ensure unified supplier expectations.
**2. Supplier Qualification & Onboarding**
New suppliers:
+ Own the New supplier pre-assessment process / Lead onboarding programs for new suppliers, coordinating inputs from Quality (audit criteria), Procurement (commercial viability), and Engineering (technical capability).
+ Implement new supplier performance monitoring, conducting regular evaluations of quality, delivery, and service KPIs during the first 3 months post-onboarding until full compliance with TE requirements is achieved
+ Approved Supplier
+ Host cross-functional supplier improvement workshops for critical supplier issues (5 suppliers/Year) (e.g., CoPQ reduction, lead time optimization) as a neutral facilitator, ensuring actions are owned by respective functions:
+ Monitor progress and escalate functional accountability gaps (e.g., Quality's audit follow-up, Procurement's cost targets).
+ Supplier Training Program, train Next/ approved suppliers on TE systems/procedures, collaborating with subject-matter experts (e.g., Quality for quality index, Procurement for commercial) as requested.
+ backup role: Quality issue handling and Problem-Solving activities, performs systematic/process audit when SQE function is not available in the region.
**Qualifications:**
+ B.S. degree (or equivalent) in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, or related field
+ At least 5 years of experience within connector and cable assembly Quality Management portion. Procurement is a plus.
+ Expert Knowledge on ISO 9001, IATF16949,LEAN Tools and other Industry Standards
+ Certified ISO 9001 auditor by 2nd party auditor.
+ Strong project based management experience
+ Expert knowledge on material management system
+ Demonstrated skills in a matrix environment
+ Knowledge on specific product and process as required (e.g. Molding, Stamping, Mechanical Assembly, PAB/PCBA, diecasting.)
+ Expert level with the tools related to supplier APQP process, include but not limited to PPAP, FMEA, CP, MSA, SPC, and 8D methodology.

**The Job**
As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you'll be part of our Hand Tools & Accessory team located in Thailand. You'll get to:
+ Managing suppliers' qualifications and development
+ Manage supplier PPAP process in new product development or transfer or resourcing project
+ Manage Production Assurance (Pre-shipment Inspection/ Process audit) and Problem Solving (CAP).
+ Manage internal customer complaints and warranty follow up.
+ Lead continue improvement internally (GSMA) and externally (supplier side
+ Manage resources in new product development (only when it is necessary).
+ Lead engineering issue follows up
**Major Tasks and Level Accountability:**
+ Conduct Quality Audit (SQA) and Social Accountability (SA) to suppliers based on Stanley Black& Decker audit process. Trace improvement plan (CAP) and maintain the audit information into dedicated audit database.
+ Conduct Pre-Shipment Inspection (or call EOLA, End of line audit). Responsible to issue official inspection report, request/review/follow up the CAP form the supplier, load audit result, and maintain the information in system if any (For example, QM).
+ Perform In-Process Audit (or called CAPA or Compliance Audit) to the Stanley Black & Decker item be manufactured by the supplier. Follow up and implement corrective action either with the supplier or buy location (division). Maintain the information in a dedicated audit database.
+ Co-work with suppliers on all different types of quality compliant and prepare CAP (corrective action plan)/LSS (LEAN & 6 Sigma) projects to avoid it happening again, include the complaint resource from: NCMR (or called DMR/notification), VOC (voice of customer), Warranty
+ Work with suppliers to develop continues improvement includes:
+ Address and follow up the open issues after Product Launch (Quality Book/PQP/PPAP).
+ Implement Engineering Change from Stanley Black & Decker side
+ Request/support Engineering Change (or called REA) from the supplier side
+ Root Cause analysis (finish bone, 5W, 8D)
+ 6 sigma project development
+ Lead and drive LEAN manufacturing on the supplier side. Improvement opportunity is not limited to: 1. Lead Time Reduction 2. Capacity Improvement/ramp up production plan 3. MOQ reduction 4. Avoid waste from production
+ Guide and facilitate Stanley Black & Decker communication platform extended to the supplier side to improve communication related to engineering/quality control/product specification
+ Drawing Access through Supplier Connect
+ Material declaration (RSDS)
+ Packaging Information through Supplier Connect includes: EP (Engineering Procedure), ES (Engineering Specification), PS (Process Specification)
+ Co-work with Purchasing responsible (Purchase Engineer or Buyer) on developing supplier.
+ Co-work with Project Engineer to facility necessary quality concept/requirement in the supplier side. With regional quality manager's dedication, SQE could involve new product development as short/middle term support.
+ Co-work with Test Lab to verify the product complied with product specification.
