**Job Description**
In this role, you will focus on selling Oracle's data platform cloud solutions as well as Oracle's traditional database licenses to new and existing customers. You will work to identify business opportunities, develop sales strategies, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders, all while driving revenue growth and ensuring customers derive maximum value from Oracle's products.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Oracle data platform products (both cloud and on-premise), sales experience in the enterprise software space, and a passion for helping clients succeed through innovative technology.

**Key Responsibilities**
+ **Sales Prospecting & Lead Generation:**
+ Identify and target new business opportunities for Oracle Data platform Cloud and license solutions across multiple industries to ensure coverage of the assigned territory.
+ Develop and execute outbound strategies to generate leads through customer engagement, networking, attending events, and leveraging digital channels.
+ Qualify and prioritize leads to engage the most promising prospects for Oracle Data platform solutions.
+ Create and continuously update account management plans within the defined territory.
+ **Solution Selling :**
+ Engage with business and technical decision-makers, using a consultative sales approach to understand their needs, challenges, and requirements regarding data platform management.
+ Provide tailored solutions by promoting Oracle's suite of data platform cloud solutions (e.g., Oracle Autonomous Database, Oracle Exadata Cloud) and on-premises database licenses.
+ Demonstrate how Oracle's data platform cloud and license solutions can address specific customer pain points, such as scalability, performance, security, and cost optimization.
+ **Product Presentations & Demos:**
+ Master and share the _"Why Oracle Story"_ that represents the value Oracle provides to customers with our unified, multi-pillar offerings.
+ Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and demonstrations of Oracle's cloud data platform products, including both cloud solutions and traditional database licenses.
+ Work closely with technical teams to deliver proof-of-concept trials and in-depth product demos, showcasing the value of Oracle's solutions.
+ Position the unique features and competitive advantages of Oracle's data platform solutions to address customer business needs.
+ **Sales Negotiation & Deal Closure:**
+ Lead the negotiation process, addressing customer objections and aligning contract terms with Oracle's offerings (cloud subscriptions and perpetual licenses).
+ Work with legal, finance, and technical teams in a timely manner to ensure that proposals, contracts, and renewals are delivered and closed out successfully.
+ Close deals and meet or exceed revenue targets, quotas and KPI's for both cloud and license-based Oracle data platform solutions.
+ **Relationship Management & Account Development:**
+ Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing clients to maximize opportunities for both cloud and license renewals and upgrades.
+ Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within the customer base to drive incremental revenue.
+ Provide ongoing customer support during and after the sales process, ensuring smooth implementation and adoption of Oracle data platform solutions.
+ **Collaboration with Internal Teams:**
+ Work collaboratively with Oracle's technical, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure seamless pre-sales and post-sales experiences.
+ Provide timely feedback to Oracle product teams regarding customer requirements and market trends to inform product enhancements.
+ Coordinate with marketing to actively execute campaigns and promotions for the target market of Oracle data platform customers.
+ Work collaboratively with Technology Infrastructure sales and all other LOB's to maximise customer success and drive adoption of Oracle products and services.
+ **Partnering**
+ Identify and build relationship with partners that influence customers within your territory and leverage Oracle's partner team where appropriate
+ Work with customers and build joint demand with MultiCloud providers 'Oracle@' marketplace products (ie Azure/AWS/GCP). This will include the development of technical specifications (inline with Cloud Engineers), quoting and contracting customers for 'Oracle@' marketplace products
+ **Sales Pipeline & Forecast Management:**
+ Actively progress the pipeline through sales stages throughout the quarter.
+ Manage an active sales pipeline in CRM tools and provide accurate and timely updates on sales opportunities, forecasts, and activities.
+ Monitor pipeline progress and adjust sales strategies as needed to ensure sales objectives are met.
+ Regularly report sales metrics, progress, and achievements to senior management.
+ Identify and pursue new clients while expanding opportunities within existing accounts by understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.

**Required Skills & Knowledge**

+ Proven sales experience in cloud technologies, database/platform solutions, or enterprise software, with a focus on Oracle products.
+ In-depth knowledge of Oracle database solutions, including Oracle Autonomous Database, Oracle Exadata Cloud Service, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, and Oracle Database licenses.
+ Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and business decision-makers.
+ Demonstrated success in managing complex sales cycles from prospecting to closing, particularly in cloud and software licensing.
+ Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets year on year, in an Enterprise, Public Sector, or Commercial territory.

**Responsibilities**
This role will oversee data center focused projects and initiatives. Managing these construction projects well is key to the overall success of customer deliveries. You will engage directly with our Colo and LV partners' leadership and project management teams, driving accountability and improvements to meet our customers' needs. You will also engage with internal teams to make sure we deliver the proper design and process documentation to the Colo, execute on our ISP circuit contracts, and update all internal tracking tools for handover to our operations teams at the end of the project.

**Responsibilities**
This role will oversee data center focused projects and initiatives. Managing these construction projects well is key to the overall success of customer deliveries. You will engage directly with our Colo and LV partners' leadership and project management teams, driving accountability and improvements to meet our customers' needs. You will also engage with internal teams to make sure we deliver the proper design and process documentation to the Colo, execute on our ISP circuit contracts, and update all internal tracking tools for handover to our operations teams at the end of the project.
