Japanese and English language catalogs for standard components for press die, plastic mold, and mechanical components for Factory Automation (FA) are distributed free-of-charge throughout Thailand is URGENTLYlooking for a qualified candidate as a below information.

Job responsibilities

• Coordinate with customers to obtain drawings, information for design and quotation.
• Design and drawing of structure such as cover machine, machine structure, factory equipment and safety fence etc.
• Work closely with internal and vendors to resolve issues and provide technical support.
• Prepare project documentation (Presentation, Drawing and Inspection sheet).
• Identify product design & assembly issues and provide technical solutions.

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or related fields.
• At least 3 years of working experience in design and draw structure
• Able to design and draw structure such as Cover machine, Machine structure, Factory equipment and safety fence etc.
• Able to visit customers and suppliers about 2-5 times/month
• Can use basic of Solid work or Solid edge program

Job Summary:

To develop new mold designs (3D and 2D) in collaboration with the Project Team members. Arrangement and follow up the design activities in mold design team respecting the project requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Designing Molds that satisfy technical requirements for the intended product and process, ensuring reliability during operation as well as product manufacturability and quality.
• Designing Molds based on TUC´s technical standards and guidelines, considering process simulations results (if available) and lessons learned from other projects.
• Proposing potential adjustments in the mold designs in order to improve the mold performance.
• Proposing improvements to current Mold design standards and guidelines based on new knowledge or positive experiences of previous projects.
• Ensuring the effective management of Mold CAD design information and releases for construction.
• Control 2D/3D data for updated and review 2D/3D from the customer before issuing to all concerns
• Design new products to provide to customers.
• Knowledge of GD&T to control customer requirements.
• Review customer specifications and testing.
• Good Knowledge of the APQP process and able to follow up schedule APQP plan for design &Dev.
• Good Knowledge of the Plastic injection process.
• Find out new solutions for Dev. new product & process.

• Making monthly reports for development activities.

Job Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mold and Tool Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years' experience in Mechanical Design.
• In-depth knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD software prefer Unigraphics NX and Solid work
• Impeccable attention to detail.

Oversee engineering calculation team of Dextra Manufacturing.

Supervise the assigned team of design engineers and draftsman.

Overview the daily activities of the team, plan and schedule tasks.

Ensure compliance of the team regarding Dextra quality system and documentation policies.

Set priorities of design and calculation projects based on their importance to the Group.

Coordinate the team activities with other departments.

Organize and participate in knowledge transfer within Dextra Group.

Prepare weekly and monthly reports, including time management and risks analysis.

Transfer knowledge to team members.

Product Design, Development and ChangeConduct engineering calculations studies on products, including but not limited to couplers and bar systems. Ensure calculations are relevant and correlate with experimental data.

Review calculation studies and drawings conducted by team members and ensure compliance with applicable standards methods.

Provide product simulation based on forging simulation and other applicable approaches.

Develop experimental plans for validation of new calculation results and methods with other related departments (e.g., Bar Systems, Product Performance, Quality and Production).

Provide recommendations and proposals related to the design or the manufacturing of products based on calculation and simulation.

Summarize results and conclusions in calculation notes/ reports. Fill and archive the different reports.

Develop tools and calculation methodologies that are most adapted to the range of products / parts.

Provide guidelines and instructions on common product calculation methods within Dextra.

Coordinate and follow-up with outside agencies in case of subcontracted studies.

Participate in the definition of product requirements for supplier quality assurance based on material properties and product studies.

Product Development and Engineering ChangeLead product development projects from study to implementation and ensure compliance with the project requirements. Coordinate activities within the project team members and ensure compliance in terms of cost, time and quality.

Participate in product development projects to ensure the proper execution related to engineering and design studies.

Coordinate Engineering Change requests and projects within DCG. Follow-up on project execution and ensure compliance of the implementation with the given specification and quality system.

Design and engineer products and components or make improvements to existing designs to enhance performance or cut down on manufacturing costs.

Coordinate internal resources (Thailand, China, any other affiliates) and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of engineering projects.

Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.

Report and escalate to management project deviations and delays as needed.

Perform risk management to minimize project risks.

Propose and implement internal procedure optimizations or changes for achieving objectives above.

Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor s or master s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, civil engineering or other related disciplines.

Minimum 5 years experience in product design/ industrial engineering, with experience in FEA software and project management.

Excellent written and verbal communication skill.

Knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Forge NxT.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design Engineering

· Receive and review board data order requirements and give advice to CAD technicians.

· Review product specifications related to board data design.

· Collaborate with PCD in FJK-HQ regarding board data requirements and specifications.

· Responsible in keeping the quality and delivery requirement of board data output.

· Verify and ensure correctness of data by checking Data and checking Data Type Inspection (DTI) Of board data.

· Supports making of board data, Supports design rule (Penplot) checking of board data.

· Standardize the methods to improve the quality and lead time of board data making and checking.

· Establish continuous training plan for CAD technicians to improve job skills to achieve KPI.

Job Description

1) Development of high pressure pump for gasoline direct injection and port fuel injection in gasoline application

2) Suport Engineering Assessments (DRBFM, FMEA, Problem Solving, Risk Assessment)

3) Layout of design groups and design elements including tolerancing and material selection

4) Support Drawing generation and document preparation (in English)

5) Optimizing Engineering processes with visualization and digitalization of data (Power BI, Excel macro)

Qualifications

1) Currently a student in Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with focus on Product Engineering and Design

2) Basic Experience in 3D-CAD, preferably Uni-graphics

3) Basic knowledge layout and tolerancing

4) Basic Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI)
