We are seeking a highly motivated
Financial Accountant
for our legal entity in Rayong, Thailand. The future incumbent will mainly manager the AR (Accounts Receivable) and Fixed Asset accounts and ensure that all transactions are accurate.
On a day-to-day base this role will be responsible for:
- Handling a full set of accounts (AR, Fixed Assets, reconciliation of revelant accounts and journal entries)
- Preparation of the information for month-end closing, quarterly closing, and year-end closing reports
- Preparing and providing the support documents to internal and external auditors, ensuring the compliance to legal, local and corporate requirements
- Preparation and submission of VAT and TAX (Phor.Phor.30) P.N.D. 1, P.N.D. 3. P.N.D 53, Phor.Phor. 36. PND 54
- Handling of the cash inflow forecast
- Verification of the correctness of the collection documents and process
- Record keeping of the company's Fixed Assets as well as conducting physical counts
- Support other departments with the Finance and Accounting expertise and constantly look for ways how to improve the work and increase the efficiency
- Providing support to the Finance Manager and handling of ad-hoc tasks
The ideal candidate should have the following
qualifications and skills
:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in an Accounting role
- Very good IT skills, inculding Microsoft Office, MAC-5
- Fluency in Thai and English
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
- High attention to detail, accurate, ability to handle timelines and manage multiple tasks at the same time
- Logical thinking and the ability to analyze data

About the Role
Columbit is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Accountantto join our Thailand Team. This position works closely with the Head Office Team in Sydney and liaising with the CFO and Finance team to oversee the day-to-day accounting function, including data processing, AP/AR and bank and balance sheet reconciliations. Key Responsibilities:

- Processing all AP invoices, related WHT certificates and the issuing of remittance advices
- Processing all AR payments, receipts of WHT certificates and following up late payments.

- Providing information to external auditors for the preparation of statutory year end accounts.
- Providing information to external Accountants/Tax Advisors for the preparation of weekly creditor payment runs and monthly VAT reports.
Qualification, Experience and Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in accountancy with 4+ years' experience in a similar role.
- Member of the Federation of Accounting Professions (TFAC).
- Proficient in English both written & verbal.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize.
- A knowledge of MYOB / ABSS accounting software would be an advantage.
- Experience in dealing with foreign exchange currencies.
- Experience in preparing financial reports and forecasts.
- Able to work unsupervised and proactive approach.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF
We are looking for an ambitious and driven Senior Accountant whose values align with our TEAM; standing for Together, Extra-mile, Accountable and Mindful. The Senior Accountant works closely with the Regional Head of Finance and the Finance and Operations to ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day financial transactions, such as processing payments and maintaining cost reports and invoices. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY
- Prepare daily ad-hoc invoice issuance (AE approval, initial invoice, event invoice, etc).
