**What is the key purpose of an Advertising Sales Manager?**
Based in our Bangkok office and reporting to the Advertising Sales Director, the Advertising Sales Manager will:
- Identify & close New Business opportunities with Enterprise Brands & Agencies throughout Thailand
- Build & Maintain long-term relationships with Taboola's existing advertising partners.
- Work cross functionally with Account Management to ensure the smooth onboarding of new advertising partners.
**What will I be doing on a day-to day today basis?**
As a Sales Manager, you will:
- Be joining a vibrant team of passionate media sales professionals in Bangkok.
- Get to work with amazing clients, some of the biggest and best names in the world!
- Gain exposure to and work cross functionally with many different business units from Marketing to Product and everything in between.
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting, to close and onboarding.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of enterprise opportunities and accurately forecast new business closure rate and revenue booked.
- Achieve quarterly new business sales targets, through phone calls / Zoom / in person meetings & presentations.
- Build realistic media plans to assist the advertiser in understanding how they can meet their objectives & goals.
- Interact with the Account Management team to effectively manage client expectations and ensure successful campaign management
- Utilize Salesforce including ensuring your outbound activity is recorded accurately.
- Attend industry events
- Be responsible for client entertainment (lunches / dinners / drinks etc).
- Contribute to the culture and direction of Taboola Thailand.
**What do successful sales people at Taboola possess ?**
- Proven track record of success, meeting or exceeding monthly / quarterly / annual sales targets.
- 4+ years sales experience preferably at a digital media company, (selling to Marketing Managers and / or Media Agencies is highly preferred).
- Hunter mentality, someone who loves the thrill of closing new business.
- Understanding of digital technology & revenue ecosystem and explain product benefits within this context
- Excellent communication & presentation skills (English and Thai).
- Strong business acumen with the drive & desire to win.
- Passionate about sales & all things digital media.
- The will and ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment
- Compassionate and empathetic.

Job Description
Based in our Bangkok office and reporting into the Executive Director of Marketing, the Advertising and Publicity Manager will be responsible for all digital advertising and publicity, along with general marketing for our Theatrical releases in Thailand. This position will also work closely with our media, PR agencies and marketing vendors.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Digital / Publicity
+ Campaign Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute PR campaigns to raise awareness.
+ Manage media relations and build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers to secure positive media coverage for initiatives and campaigns.
+ Develop compelling press releases, media kits, and other materials to effectively communicate key messages and achievements to the media and the public.
+ Proactively pitch opportunities to secure media coverage.
+ Respond to media enquiries and coordinate interview/photo opportunities in a timely manner, including the preparation of supporting materials (e.g. key messages, Q&A, etc.)
+ Assist in planning and executing PR events and other activities to maximize visibility and impact, both locally and internationally that generate excitement and awareness among target audiences.
+ Work closely with media partners: managing / pitching of media partners; newspaper, radio, magazine website and social media.
+ Monitor media coverage, analyse results, and provide regular reports to evaluate the effectiveness of PR efforts.
+ Be team players and work well with internal teams, including marketing, fundraising, and program managers, to align PR efforts with organizational goals.
Media / Advertising
+ Work closely to agencies, vendors and suppliers for all localized digital assets (for both advertising & publicity purpose).
+ Supporting role on supervision of ATL Planning & Buying and BTL execution
+ Identify emerging trends and industry news to leverage relevant media and PR opportunities.
+ Planning on exhibitor (cinema) campaign for each film - to serve the purpose of our must-see voice and efficient awareness and exposure via exhibitor's channels both offline and online.
+ Management on all activities that could be leverage to have additional support of exhibitors and media partners.
Requirements:
+ B.A. (Mass Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, or related fields).
+ Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Advertising >> Planning / Buying / Media Partner as well as Publicity >> 360-degree execution with PR agencies and local press (entertainment / lifestyle) and new generation of medium e.g. bloggers, influencers, etc.
+ Exceptional media writing and verbal communication skills (both EN/TH), and an ability to manage competing, time-critical priorities.
+ Demonstrated success in securing positive media coverage and building relationships with key media contacts.
+ Strong knowledge of media trends, outlets, and contacts.
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
+ Ability to work well under pressure and manage issues effectively.
+ Brings innovation, creativity and strategic thinking to media and PR campaigns.
+ Leisure preference with Entertainment Lifestyle (Passion in movies/films is preferable).
