Qualifications

  • Experience with budgets, P&L statements, capital expenditures and forecasting
  • Strong skill in driving for results.

Job Purpose:
This position is responsible for managing new innovation project activation, ensure end-to-end supply chain resiliency of co-manufacturing product supply, price negotiation and contract management. He/She will work closely with strategic sourcing manager to ensure the efficient and effective execution of the sourcing strategy into responsible units. This role will also lead the factory activity management to support the implementation of customer units' activities and projects for both NPD and DiB initiatives. In addition, this role act as a first line of escalation on issues between co-manufactures and the business. As a result of this, this role will hold the supplier relationship management in the aspect of operational level in order to deliver the value chain optimization in total value to business. This position is expected to collaborate cross functionally within organization as well as relevant external organizations and associates to achieve the agreed business goals. He/she will also be the representative of commercial team in S&OP+ as designated in local, regional, or global venues. The role is based at BKK with regular travel to related co-manufacturers in Thailand or occasionally to the customer units.

Responsibilities

  • Working with strategic sourcing manager to implement buying strategies to meet OGSM goals
  • Working with strategic sourcing manager to get market knowledge, trends, and developments in order to provide price forecasts, risk assessments to the portfolio and clients
  • Manage co-manufacturing price negotiation and agreement as per contractual agreement
  • Manage the co-manufacturing portfolio against KPIs within the commercial strategy and OGSM
  • Leverage our co-manufacturers' capabilities to improve our supply chain and/or enhance our product portfolio
  • Ensure co-manufacturers' supply performance, provide supply solutions, and resolve day-to-day operation issues
  • Carry out Co-manufacturer performance review on regular basis, analyze the CSL, identify the opportunity thru supplier continuous improvement program.
  • Lead the factory activity management to support NPD launches, re-launches, or Line expansion projects with the committed timeline and to meet the business plan
  • Manage and implement project management process thru QuEST and to ensure it fits with regional, and clients S&OP+ process
  • Initiate the project timeline from factory standpoint and work with market activity manager to deliver the project launch on-time and full pipeline fill
  • Ensure the day-to-day operational activities (logistics, planning, activity management, reporting and order placing by units) are fulfilled on-time and to support clients' requests
  • Lead the supply operations to ensure supply security of co-manufacturing items to clients
  • Working with client units to optimize and lean supply chain with a proper inventory level
  • Initiate and deliveries of COGS opportunities for co-manufacturing items as per target
  • Consolidating demands/orders from all clients and run the report to understand spends and volume analysis
  • Working with Mars GOT, clients, and co-manufacturers for the nominated liners to carry over Mars shipments to destination units.
