About the role

Main Responsibilities:

Equipment Planning & Standardization:

  • Summarize/compile the equipment list for each project type (new store, renovation, relocation) aligned to brand standards, menu, capacity, site constraints, and utility loads (power, water, gas, exhaust/ventilation).

  • Coordinate with Brand, Operations, and RM to confirm specifications, model approvals, shop drawings, and utility points (MEP interface) for each equipment item.

  • Maintain the equipment master list, approved vendor list, and standard options/alternates for each brand and store format.

Cost Estimation, Sourcing & Ordering Support:

  • Work with Procurement/QS to prepare cost estimates (CAPEX) by store and by category; flag variances versus benchmarks and value‑engineering opportunities.

  • Prepare purchase requisitions and ordering plans per project timeline; track PR/PO/lead times, and delivery milestones.

  • Coordinate with Finance on budget alignment and with vendors on warranty scope, after‑sales service, and documentation (manuals, test sheets, certificates).

Inventory & Logistics Planning:

  • Build an equipment demand plan across the pipeline (equity & franchise) to synchronize vendor production, warehouse stock, and store opening dates.

  • Work with Logistics/Warehouse to schedule inbound/outbound shipments, kitting, staging, and site deliveries to meet installation windows and minimize storage costs.

  • Monitor inventory health (on‑hand, in‑transit, reserved) and execute replenishment.

Reuse & Sustainability (Warehouse Utilization):

  • Collaborate with Warehouse to identify reusable assets (back‑of‑house equipment, FF&E, IT/low‑voltage peripherals) that meet safety and performance criteria.

  • Coordinate inspection, refurbishment, and re‑certification where applicable; document serial numbers, condition, and residual life for audit traceability.

New Equipment & Alternatives (Productivity, Cost, Innovation):

  • Align equipment deliveries with site progress (MEP rough‑in, floor loading, ventilation readiness) and contractor method statements.

  • Coordinate installation sequencing, pre‑commissioning/commissioning checklists, snag/rectification, and training handover with vendors and Operations.

  • Ensure as‑built data, asset tags/serials, warranty registration, and spare‑parts lists are complete at practical completion.

  • Keep the equipment tracker updated (store‑by‑store status: spec freeze, PR/PO, delivery, install, test, handover).

Stakeholder & Vendor Management:

  • Facilitate clear, timely communication across Procurement, Warehouse, Brand Ops, Design/MEP, Vendors, and Franchisees.

  • Escalate risks early (long lead items, import constraints, model discontinuation) and drive contingency actions.

Qualification:
