We are seeking a passionate and talented Embedded System Engineer to join our growing team. Summary
The Associate Engineer, Electrical Design develops new electrical systems/circuits for various applications. Research system ideas and draw up plans for these systems, and capture them in schematics and system specifications. Test, simulate, validate and qualify their systems and make adjustments as needed. Provide support throughout the manufacturing of the electrical systems they have designed.

The Associate Engineer, Electrical Design works in cross functional teams with other designers, customers, manufacturing engineering and project leadership to ensure robust and high quality product development. Enhance designs with feedback from reviews in areas such as manufacturing, test, supply chain, reliability, industrial design and simulations.

Detailed Description

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

• Work as a team member who understands/interprets technical problems and provides technical support.
• Solve assigned problems under guidance of more senior engineers.
• Design, modify and implement systems that meet customer and Celestica needs. e.g. creation of Schematics, Bills of material, diagrams, drawings, etc.
• Keep up to date with relevant industry knowledge and regulations
• Liaison with suppliers, customers, contractors, and other internal teams.
• Analyse and interpret data and information
• Recommend modifications for systems
• Create reports and documentation

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

• Experience with Hardware development and testing with Embedded HW, FPGA, High Speed Ethernet, Chassis, Power, Regulatory, and DFT.
• Experience with bench level testing and test equipment including high speed oscilloscopes, Network analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and network pattern generators.
• Experience developing Software for hardware test automation with development tools such as C/C++, Python, TCL/TK, LabVIEW, and PERL.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.

Celestica HPS Engineering team is seeking a highly motivated and self-driven candidate qualified for the position of Hardware Validation Engineer to help design and build market-leading Hardware Platform Solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for engineering assignments related to hardware products as well as systems including Hardware validation of new products, updates to existing products, or sustaining current products.

• Support Hardware and Software Team in bring up and validation of Networking, Storage, and Server products during NPI phase per Hardware validation Test Plan

• Setup the and manage Test Rack , Test equipment and Unit Under Test for hardware validation

• Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and address any hardware issues identified during validation

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecom Engineering or equivalent.

• 0-5 years of experience with hardware testing and validation

• Familiar with electrical design tools such as Logic analyzer, Oscilloscopes

• Familiar with common communication protocol such as I2C, SPI, DDR, PCIe, USB, Ethernet, SATA, NVMe

• Hands-on lab debugging, diagnostic errors. Problem solving and corrective actions
