Job Summary and Mission

This position will be responsible for all brand quality system. It shall contribute to the brand's success by providing dedicated technical knowledge to ensure food safety & quality compliance throughout the product's supply chain in day-to-day operation as well as seeking the initiative for quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintaining brand quality at stores by conducting store audit using brand or company's in-house standard checklist (up country travelling required)

2. Plan and conduct an effective audit at stores by utilizing the brand's checklist

3. Plan and conduct the quality sampling of products by either test kit or 3rd laboratory
4. Creating constructive audit reports to related parties or cross functions
5. Raise up and lead to related parties to have an effective solution proactively

6. Manage the 3rd party auditors to make sure the alignment of the standard

7. Quality improvement initiative and projects

8. Analyze the overall result and be able to provide advice for prevention

9. Establish the quality procedures to improve the overall quality

10. Conduct an experiment or testing to approve the new equipment, smallware or chemicals

11. Handling product complaint or product quality defect

12. Monitoring product complaint or product defect reported by stores or customer

13. Reacting to all complaints appropriately to seek the root cause and having corrective/preventive action

14. Liaison with the Regional Office on specific complaints and seeks appropriate actions

15. Maintaining supplier's quality at local suppliers and warehouse & transportation by conducting quality audit at supplier

16. Schedule an audit plan and conduct an effective audit at suppliers or warehouse

17. Creating constructive feedback and setting up corrective / preventive action appropriately

18. Seeking the opportunities of improvement

19. Dealing with authority in regulatory affair e.g. TH-FDA

20. Execute the registration process until completion to ensure all imported items are timely imported

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science and Technology or equivalent field of sciences
• At least 5 years of working experience in roll of food quality assurance or production either in industrial or retail
• Having direct regulatory affair experience with TH-FDA or related agents is a plus
• Good command of English communication – speaking and writing
• Good computer knowledge
• Good interpersonal skill and relationship

Qualification and Experience

Grade 12 minimum qualification with 2 - 3 years of experience in the industry or Diploma/Degree in Business Administration/Communication or similar in relevant fields.

Previous experience in quality assurance environment or a similar role is preferred.

Mission description

3.0 Detailed department related duties Summary of Duties 3.1 Responsible for ensuring quality compliance of parts /materials to meet product /part specification and standard related. 3.2 Control and monitor parts quality and on time delivery of suppliers Responsible for the incoming inspection team to ensure they perform according to WI of inspection works and that all incoming inspection detail is correct. Use statistical approach to monitor quality data of the supplier and publish weekly/month report basis or any report request. Collect and evaluate supplier quality and on time delivery data to identify process improvement opportunities within the supply chain. Maintain supplier quality and on time delivery metrics and provide regular feedback to all suppliers 3.3 Lead effort to resolve supplier quality issues. 3.4 Review and analyze supplier non-conformance reports, perform internal investigation and participate in material review board. 3.5 Work directly with supplier to investigate rot cause and identify/follow up corrective actions. 3.6 Issue NCR and or 8D to suppliers and coordinate with purchase team to follow their corrective action. Verify the defect of material issue related Initiate and follow-up Supplier Corrective Actions (SCAR) in partnership with Manufacturing Engineering to ensure complete and effective root cause analysis and corrective action implementation. Manage suppliers' non-conformances, including their disposition, documentation, and communication.
