About the Role

Following the success of our initial MotionBoard IoT project, we are looking for a dedicated AWS Engineer to build and manage the cloud infrastructure for its next phase. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of the AWS environment, from architecture design to security and performance. A critical component of this position is the creation and maintenance of comprehensive technical documentation to support the project team and ensure long-term success.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure on AWS.
• Collaborate with the IoT Engineer and Data Visualization Specialist to understand infrastructure needs for data ingestion, storage, and processing.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
• Manage AWS services relevant to an IoT pipeline (e.g., AWS IoT Core, Kinesis, Lambda, S3, RDS/DynamoDB).
• Take lead responsibility for creating and maintaining technical project documentation, including system architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and operational manuals.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Cloud Engineer or AWS Engineer.
• Strong proficiency with core AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Excellent technical writing and documentation skills, with the ability to create clear and concise materials.
• Good proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Qualifications

• Japanese language ability.
• Experience supporting Business Intelligence (BI), data visualization (especially MotionBoard), or IoT projects.

About the role

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for automating and managing the infrastructure that powers our cloud-based applications. You'll work closely with developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to design, implement, and maintain reliable and scalable AWS cloud infrastructure. Your role will be crucial in improving the CI/CD pipeline, optimizing cloud environments, and ensuring the highest levels of uptime and performance for our services.

Responsibilities:

AWS Infrastructure Management:

• Manage and maintain AWS environments using services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
• Build and scale infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

CI/CD Pipeline:

Security & Compliance:

• Ensure best practices for security are followed, including implementing access controls, encryption, and auditing.
