About the role

Chill Bill Bar in the vibrant Phra Khanong neighbourhood of Bangkok is seeking an experienced Bar Manager to lead our talented bar team. As Bar Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our bar operations, from staff management to stock control and inventory. The St. Regis Bar at The St. Regis Bangkok is seeking a passionate and service-driven
Assistant Bar Manager
to support the daily operations of our iconic bar. This role is ideal for a dynamic hospitality professional who thrives in a luxury environment and is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

As Assistant Bar Manager, you will assist in leading a team of talented bartenders and servers, ensuring seamless operations, elevated service standards, and a refined atmosphere that reflects the timeless elegance of the St. Regis brand.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence

  • Support daily bar operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Ensure team members are equipped with proper tools, uniforms, and supplies.
  • Monitor compliance with brand standards, safety protocols, and local regulations.
  • Oversee responsible alcohol service in accordance with Thai law and Marriott policies.
  • Collaborate with culinary and beverage teams to maintain product quality and presentation.
  • Assist in achieving financial goals through cost control and revenue optimization.

Team Leadership

  • Supervise and motivate bar staff to deliver exceptional service.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to enhance team performance.
  • Lead pre-shift briefings and communicate departmental goals.
  • Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the Beverage Manager or Director of Restaurants.

Guest Experience

  • Engage with guests to personalize service and gather feedback.
  • Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and urgency.
  • Ensure staffing levels align with service demands and budget targets.
  • Uphold the St. Regis legacy of anticipatory service and refined hospitality.

Training & Development

  • Support ongoing training initiatives and on-the-job learning.
  • Communicate clear performance expectations for each role.
  • Recognize and reward outstanding performance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a luxury bar or restaurant setting.
  • Strong knowledge of mixology, wine, and spirits.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a diverse team.
  • Fluent in English; Thai language skills are a plus.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
