Position Overview
The Stock Control Officer is responsible for managing the school's inventory system, ensuring accurate stock levels, and supporting logistics and procurement activities. This role plays a key part in the smooth functioning of operations by coordinating with the purchasing department and ensuring that all supplies and resources are tracked, stored, and distributed efficiently.
Academic & Professional Qualifications
- Thai national
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Certificate or vocational training in Inventory Management, Logistics, or Business Administration (preferred but not mandatory)
- Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Excel, inventory systems)
Skills, Experience, & Attributes Sought
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skill
- Attention to detail and accuracy in stock management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills for coordination with suppliers and internal departments
- Physically capable of handling stock and performing basic manual tasks
- Familiarity with stock or ERP systems is an advantage
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain accurate stock records using inventory management systems
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock and deliveries
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of stock in storerooms or warehouses
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with records
- Notify the purchasing department when stock levels fall below acceptable thresholds
- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely restocking and order placements
- Prepare stock usage and movement reports as required
- Assist with logistical arrangements for school events and supply distribution
- Support asset tagging, recordkeeping, and tracking of school property
