Job Summary

Responsible for ensuring the company's full compliance with all internal and external regulations, including AML/CFT, PDPA, and related laws.



Responsibilities
  • Establish and update company policies and procedures related to compliance matters.
  • Advise all departments to perform their duties in compliance with both internal and external regulations, including AML/CFT and related laws.
  • Coordinate with government entities and monitor updates from regulators (e.g., AMLO) and external legal advisors.
  • Deliver compliance-related training, develop e-learning modules, and raise awareness across departments.

  • Ensure compliance with PDPA and maintain RoPA (Record of Processing Activities).
  • Perform other compliance-related assignments as requested by the superior or head office.


Qualifications
  • Age between 27–35 years (male candidates preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in compliance, preferably within banks, leasing, or financial institutions.
  • Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and legal regulations; experience working with regulators such as AMLO.
  • Proactive, dependable, and detail-oriented with excellent English communication skills (speaking, reading, writing).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good teamwork and responsiveness to management feedback.

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law and admitted to practice law in Thailand.
  • 5 – 8 years post-qualification experience in the legal industry, ideally with a combination of law firm and in-house experience.
  • Prior experience in the MNC manufacturing industry and/or food & beverage industry will be an advantage.
  • Ability to communicate efficiently to both legal and business professionals, with fluency in Thai and English (written and spoken).

What you will do:

  • Provide overall value-added legal advice and support for the Thailand organization and business functions as well as for special projects, e.g. capital investments and other growth projects, to advance the commercial strategy while minimizing risks and ensuring compliance.
  • Review, draft, negotiate and advise on customer supply, distribution, and other commercial agreements.
  • Review, draft, negotiate and advise on procurement and service agreements, and tolling/contract manufacturing agreements.
  • Collaborate with the business on strategic and cost-effective management of disputes and claims.
  • Identify enterprise risks and partner with the Regional Counsel and business stakeholders on risk management/mitigation strategies, including leading the delivery of relevant trainings and preparing & implementing relevant policies, taking into consideration local culture and language.
  • Actively monitor, identify and communicate legal developments in Thailand relevant to the business and operations.
  • Partner with the Regional Counsel and Corporate Business Integrity team on implementation of the global compliance strategy in Thailand, including promoting a Speak Up culture, leading the delivery of trainings as well as supporting compliance investigations.
  • Support the Regional Counsel and Corporate Government Affairs team on implementation of the global government/public affairs strategy in Thailand.
  • Support the implementation of PDPA policies and procedures in Thailand.
  • Promote and develop good corporate governance practices, in collaboration with the Regional Corporate Governance Manager.
  • Coordinate with and manage external counsel, if needed and within budget.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law and admitted to practice law in Thailand.
  • 5 – 8 years post-qualification experience in the legal industry, ideally with a combination of law firm and in-house experience.
  • Prior experience in the MNC manufacturing industry and/or food & beverage industry will be an advantage.
  • Ability to communicate efficiently to both legal and business professionals, with fluency in Thai and English (written and spoken).
  • Willingness to travel domestically, as required.
