Position Overview
The Global Counter-Trafficking Group (GCG) are seeking a highly motivated Intelligence Analyst to work with our partner NGO Global Alms in Mae Sot, Thailand. This role focuses on researching and analyzing information related to scam centers operating along the Thailand–Myanmar border. The analyst will play a key role in collecting, verifying, and interpreting data to support ongoing efforts to understand the structure, scale, and impact of these operations.
The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, fluent in both Thai and English, and comfortable working independently while coordinating closely with NGO staff and local law enforcement partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Management
- Gather, organize, and maintain information related to scam centers, including mapping their locations, identifying associated companies, and estimating the number of victims.
- Compile open-source and partner-provided data into structured formats.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of collected information.
- Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze trends and patterns in scam center activity.
- Prepare written reports and visualizations (tables, charts, and maps) for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support decision-making by presenting clear, actionable intelligence.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Liaise with Thai law enforcement agencies and other relevant partners in a professional and collaborative manner.
