• Verify and create new specification document for new part/ new components evaluation guidelines.
• Verify and create new Delta P/N for new components.
• Review all related BOM (Preliminary BOM/ Customer BOM/ Safety BOM or Production BOM) and
  
  provide recommendation to Design Engineer to be completely compliance with Component Standardization,
• Multiple Source strategy, Customer compliant and Safety compliance.
• Preparing Customer environmental report following each customer specific requirement.
• Perform Material Evaluation for Components Qualification and approval
• Maintaining Q-Info data into system for smooth production.
• Cooperating with Commodity Team or related Team for supplier quality improvement.
• Cooperate with Team for initiate and Develop New Materials and New Sources or New supplier for
  
  new Design & Cost competition.
• Cooperate and Support to verify & trouble shooting the Material or Component Issues.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or other related field
• Prefer 2 years of working experience in a related field, new graduates are also welcome
• Good command of both spoken and written English

About the role

Join Sirtec' as a Component Engineer and play a crucial role in the design, development and improvement of mechanical components. This full-time position is based in Sriracha, Chonburi, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic, engineering-focused environment.

• Responsible for component drawing, packaging material design, etc.

• Responsible for component approval, testing, sample signing, etc.

• Conduct failure analysis and root cause investigations to identify improvements to component performance and reliability

• Bachelor's degree or above, major in mechanical engineering or related field
• At least 2 years of similar working experience
• Familiar with the manufacturing processes of hardware components, labels, and packaging materials

• Proficient in using CAD, Office and other office software and data analysis tools

Job Summary:

• Perform magnetics design calculation and power loss analysis such as PFC choke, Transformer, Resonant inductor, EMI filter
• Perform magnetics simulation in Finite Element Analysis Software such as FEMM, Ansys, Quickfield
• Perform magnetics design for manufacturing
• Coordinate with other R&D centers in different countries

Your main role is to:

• Assisting in the trend investigation for market product.
• Leading the development task of the latest magnetic component products.
• Executing and assisting in introducing and conceiving new technologies/new information.
• Assisting in problem analysis and follow-up, making engineering sample, and engineering/design alteration.
• Executing input/output review of product design.
• Providing and confirming product BOM draft.
• Executing component materials selection and suppliers import.
• Executing feasibility assessment of new product development.
• Executing project progress management.

Who are we looking for?

Strong technical background in the field of (or):

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or above.
• 3-5 years of related experience.
• Strong background on magnetics design
• Background on power electronics
• Electromagnetics or Microwave
• Ability to troubleshoot and analyze technical problems in detail.
• Able to use some simulation software, MathCAD or writing some script languages
• Verbal and written English communications skills
• Professional working attitude, high responsibility and good teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Direct Supplier Interaction
  : Communicating directly with suppliers to negotiate terms, prices, and contracts.
• Supplier Relationship Management
  : Building and maintaining strong, productive relationships with suppliers for long-term success.
• Project Management
  : The ability to manage procurement projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring, to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Supplier Audits
  : Conducting site visits to suppliers to assess their production facilities and ensure compliance with quality standards and other requirements.
• Involvement in Quality Control
  : Assessing the quality of goods or services being purchased by physically inspecting them or closely examining quality reports.
• Procurement Processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineer or any related field
• Minimum GPA of 2.70 for undergraduate and 3.30 for postgraduate studies
• Good command of English (TOEIC score of 550 or higher)
• 2 years or more in purchasing, procurement and sourcing or relate fields
• Window and Doors' hardware knowledge would be advantaged
• Be able to work in different provinces
• Proficiency in analyzing market trends, supplier performance, and other data to make informed purchasing decisions
• The ability to negotiate favorable terms and prices with suppliers while maintaining good relationships
• The ability to make sound decisions regarding purchasing strategies, suppliers, and other procurement-related matters
• Being open to change and flexible in response to market conditions, organizational needs and able to work under pressure with growth mindset
• Taking immediate action to resolve any issues that arise during the procurement process, such as delivery delays or discrepancies in orders
• The ability to work effectively with colleagues across different departments and collaborate on procurement projects

Job Responsibilities

· Establish and maintain comprehensive cost databases covering materials, labor, and

manufacturing processes.

· Conduct detailed cost analysis and develop target pricing for new project components.

· Perform cost assessments and target price setting for engineering changes involving raw

materials, labor, manufacturing processes, and tooling (e.g., molds, die, jig, fixture, etc.).

· Analyze and forecast cost data and trends related to raw materials and foreign exchange rates.

· Develop and implement component cost reduction scheme and ensure effective execution.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree, in engineering or any related field.

· Over 5 years of experience in the automotive industry.

· Proficient/Familiar with automotive part and tooling manufacturing process, cost structure or industrial manufacturing fields.

· Proficient using Microsoft office, especially Excel.

· Experience in purchasing engineering is preferred.

· Proficient in English, Chinese speaking ability is preferred.

Duties:

• Lead the Production Engineering team while working hands-on as a playing manager.
• Plan, design, and set up production lines, equipment, and tooling for new/existing products.
• Improve manufacturing processes for productivity, quality, safety, and cost efficiency.
• Solve technical issues in production and support stable line operations.
• Manage projects for process optimization and new product introduction (NPI).
• Train and develop engineers/technicians, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

MUST

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operation.
• More than 2 years of experience in production engineering.
• Ability to lead and train teams to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for reporting and data analysis.
• Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities.
• Understanding of safety standards and quality control.

• Management experience in a manufacturing industry.
