• Strong understanding of data centre infrastructure and construction processes with excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
• Experience with M&E systems in data centres or critical infrastructure.
• Familiarity with local construction regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordination on and off-site activities of the design, engineering and project delivery teams which include consultants, suppliers and contractors and project delivery.
• Review all Technical Design & Engineering deliverables for technical content, drawing quality and adherence to code/project requirements
• Project management and oversight of construction related activities for new builds or general capital projects. This will include the ownership of the project scope, timeline, and budget.
• Clear alignment for each project and defining successful indicators based on project scope and customer needs prior to project initiation.
• Evaluate project risk on design intent/purpose, delivery programme and cost optimization
• Total project quality including the assisting with commissioning and integrated system testing and oversight of the execution of the project.
• Personally conduct job-site inspections to ensure projects are adhering to specifications and design intent
• Perform other duties as assigned or instructed

Skills Sets And Qualifications Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical from an accredited College or University
• Master's Degree or other advanced education is preferred
• Professional Registration as a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with the Council of Engineers Thailand (COET)
• 12 years minimum experience in electrical engineering design for data centres
• 5 years minimum experience working in professional MEP company for data centres
• Lead design consultant experience on successful / large scale >10MW data centre project
• Lead Project Manager experience on successful / large scale >10MW data centre project

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the management of the construction team including mentoring, scheduling their activities, recruitment and performance management of the team members.
• Directing the construction team through all construction phases of a project including contractor coordination and all aspects of site management.
• Check and ensure the project brief, all design briefs, drawings and specifications and all project relevant information are executed as per clients objectives.
• Contact with Suppliers of Construction materials/equipment in order to be aware of the most efficient & cost effective application and working methods.
• Monitoring construction progress, quality and safety, and initiating action to rectify any non-conformance.
• Supervise onsite contractor(s) for their safety, quality, equipment and maintenance of appropriate resourcing levels.
• Preparing construction information for inclusion in the project report, providing all relevant information to the project manager.
• Monitoring the preparation of contractors final accounts obtaining relevant certificates and submission to the client for payment.
• Ensuring the inclusion in the contract and subsequently requesting the design team, consultants and contractors to supply the client with as-built and installed drawings, operations and maintenance manuals, as well as ensuring adequate arrangements have been made for training of clients engineering and maintenance staff.
• Cease contractors from continuing work if concerns are identified with safety, quality, method statements or any other non-conformance.
• Recruitment decisions for construction team members for a small project and within the Limitations of Authority Policy of the Archetype Group. Assisting with the recruitment of construction team members as required by the Project Manager on a larger project.
• Overall construction site management, highlighting any issues with site management to the Project Manager.

Requirements

• Degree qualified in Engineering.
• 8+ years experience working on construction projects including a minimum of 5 years experience managing construction teams.
• Advanced technical abilities in construction management, with the ability to train and mentor others to develop further their skills in contractor management, safety, quality management, and site-based design management.
• Advanced attention to detail, particularly in respect to contractual requirements, design/site drawings, quality of construction works and construction standard methods.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write clear reports, site instructions/memos and meeting minutes that are clear and understandable.
• Previous experience managing multicultural project teams in an expatriate environment either in Asia, the Middle East, Africa or South America.
• Intermediate leadership skills, ensuring teams are well motivated, organized, able to provide clear direction and manage conflict.
• Intermediate client management skills, including demonstrable persuasiveness, negotiation skills and inter-personal skills.
• Intermediate working knowledge of software used in project management including: Microsoft Project, Primavera, Team Binder, Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is a pre-requisite.

Overall Job Function:

• Ensure and oversees contract administration of projects. Monitors against variances.
• Follows and document all variances and change orders during the project.
• Ensures invoices are consistent with commitments made under contracts.
• Ensures compliance with H&M standards, building codes and regulations and Occupational Health and Safety codes.
• Compile cost for each project.

• Working experience of construction field and project management more than 10 years

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of assigned personnel including contractor teams in performing offshore construction (including structural, mechanical, piping, and electrical installations). Perform supervisory duties at the level established by the management for the position.

• Ensure compliance with SSHE (Safety, Security, Health, and Environmental) standards and promote a strong safety culture. 

• Follow up construction work including reviewing all documents related to the construction modification project. Determine optimal construction procedures in order to minimize disruption to operations and recommend such practice to superior.

• Review, interpret and prepare specific construction drawings, specifications, and procedures for offshore work by using from PTTEP standards and codes of practice.

• Interface Management: Liaise with onshore teams/project engineer/Production/ Maintenance/ Safety/logistics and related work people at offshore to ensure smooth coordination and complete construction work

• Maintain daily progress reports, timesheets, and work permits. Ensure accurate documentation of work performed and issues encountered 

• Ensure quality control and adherence to project specification and standards.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during offshore construction.

• Participate in ITP (inspection and Test plan), safety audits, and handover processes.

• Material and equipment:

• Prepare and review construction materials and equipment in order to minimize bulk storage. Maintain a minimum stock of consumable items.

• Upon request, inspect the materials/equipment prior to offshore transfer in liaison with Songkhla base logistics personnel.

• Receive material/equipment offshore and control the use of materials by contractors based on work at hand.

• Regarding manpower:

• Mobilize manpower and issue timesheet for all contractor personnel.

• Monitor their daily work; ensure their work conformity with terms and condition of contracts.

• Documentation and administration to cover the whole delegated work cycle of recording, progress and wrap up report.

• Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and risk assessments

• Control and closed monitor the SSE (Short service employee) program

• Ascertain all answers that are related to the technical queries asked by Contractors/and Head Quarter.

Position Summary:

The Construction Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of the construction process for retail and property development projects. This role requires a strong background in architecture, interior design, and MEP systems to ensure high-quality project execution, on-time delivery, and adherence to budgets and company standards. The Construction Manager will coordinate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Project Planning & Management

• Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for multiple retail and property development projects.
• Prepare and review construction schedules, progress reports, and work plans.
• Ensure alignment of design, interior, and MEP work with company standards and brand guidelines.

2.Design Coordination

• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and MEP consultants to review and resolve design issues.
• Ensure drawings and technical documents are accurate, complete, and compliant with regulations and codes.
• Provide technical input and value engineering solutions to optimize cost, quality, and schedule.

3.Construction Supervision & Quality Control

• Oversee site activities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and workmanship.
• Manage and resolve on-site issues and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.

4.Contractor & Vendor Management

• Select, evaluate, and negotiate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.

• Approve progress claims, variations, and final accounts.

5.Stakeholder Communication

• Liaise with internal departments, project owners, tenants, and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment.
• Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Facilitate coordination between design, procurement, and construction teams.

6.Risk & Cost Management

• Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Monitor project expenditures and ensure cost control measures are implemented effectively.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and building codes.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Professional license or certification (e.g., Architect License, Professional Engineer) is an advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in construction management, with at least 3–5 years in retail and property development projects.
• Strong background in architectural design coordination, interior fit-out, and MEP systems.

Skills & Competencies:

• Excellent knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and industry standards.
• Strong project management, leadership, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in project management and design software (AutoCAD, MS Project, Revit, etc.).
