**About this role:**
Carrier Refrigeration is seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our team. In this role, you'll create high-quality, engaging, on-brand visual designs such as marketing collateral - with a focus on products and solutions, presentations, digital content and trade show booth graphics - that supports the company's branding, marketing and communications efforts across various channels. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, communications and external agencies, to ensure that all visual content supports the company's strategic objectives and meets brand standards.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a creative mindset along with strong project management skills, has proven experience in graphics and brand design to help active activate brands across various media channels. The candidate should have experience working within a corporate communications design structure, excellent craft skills to tailor communications to meet the needs of the target audience while working within strict brand guidelines and pushing the boundaries of innovative design are essential creative skills. The candidate is proficient in managing a diverse range of stakeholders, including internal clients, vendors and key customers. The job demands excellent design skills for print and digital media, a real understanding of the importance of content in communications, and a proven ability to juggle deadlines.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Develop an understanding of Carrier's visual identity and ensure consistent treatment in all design work - technically accurate, audience-appropriate, on-brand visual content.
+ Create visual marketing communication materials that convey messages in an effective and impactful manner, transforming complex information and data into clear, concise and visually engaging designs. This includes but not limited to graphics, layouts and templates for digital and print media such as presentations, brochures, reports, product fact sheets, employee and external communications, social media content, website graphics, digital ads and email campaigns.
+ Ensure all visual materials are consistent with the company's brand guidelines and reinforce the corporate identity across all channels.
+ Ensure all digital designs are optimized for usability, accessibility and responsiveness across devices.
+ Size, retouch and color-correct images for internal and external publication.
+ Research and obtain stock images.
+ Make data-driven decisions to optimize design elements for better user engagement and conversion rates.
+ Work closely with the Global Creative Production Manager and Refrigeration Marketing & Communications team to understand project requirements, develop creative concepts, and execute design solutions that effectively communicate key messages.
+ Provide creative input and ideation during brainstorming sessions to develop innovative design concepts.
+ Maintain strong data visualization skills and best practices. Take complex data charts and graphs and translate them into easy-to-understand visual aids that enable customers and prospects to understand difficult concepts.
+ Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project deadlines.
+ Maintain a digital archive of all creative assets, ensuring they are organized and easily accessible.
+ Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools and technologies to continuously improve the quality and impact of visual content.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Associate's degree
+ 5 + years of experience in graphic design.
+ Work product and communications will be conducted in English. Fluent professional English is mandatory for this position.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Fine Art Design or a related field.
+ University degree or equivalent and minimum 7 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
+ Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design software.
+ Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design skills and experience in both digital and print media.
+ Strong understanding of social media platforms and their specific design requirements.
+ Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
+ Strong attention to detail, passion for creating visually impactful designs and presentations, as well as the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
+ Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
+ Knowledge of data visualization principles to create high-quality, engaging and easily understood visuals, charts, and infographics.
+ Experience with motion graphics, video editing and/or creating engaging animations and GIFs is a plus.
+ Knowledge of web design, HTML/CSS, and UX/UI principles is a plus.
+ Proven ability to deliver high-quality work with a strong work ethic.
+ Comfortable interacting with cross-functional teams.

Job Description

**Purpose of the role**

A key part of the Asian Trails marketing team, the Graphic Designer will influence the global corporate identity of the brand, elevating the public and internal image of Asian Trails. The designer, working closely with the Group E-Commerce & Marketing director and internal team, will support a wide variety of online & offline graphic elements, from simple signage to interactive brochures across the Asian Trails group.

**Key Responsibilities/Job Description**:
**Platforms/Touchpoints**
- Support the Group Marketing Manager & Marketing team with ideas and designs to improve the UX/UI of all corporate touchpoints
- Provide design elements to specification needed for online touchpoints

**Content**
- Work with the Director of Marketing and other stakeholders to produce and maintain a definitive style guide for all brand elements of Asian Trails (and any additional brand of the group) as required
- Support the Group Marketing Manager by providing design concepts for a variety of online & offline marketing collaterals such as advertisements/campaigns, brochures, presentations, new business tenders, posters, leaflets, standees, exhibitions and displays, events, corporate communications to demand
- Ensure all brand materials are designed and produced with consistency at the highest possible standard, conforming to all agreed brand identity guidelines
- Retouch/edit images where required
- Support image identification, acquisition and storage (where needed) from internal and external sources
- Support the design of any corporate identity materials (i.e., business cards, uniforms, vehicles

**Delivery**
- Support the design & formatting of various EDM deliverables, including newsletters, mail blasts and advertising initiatives
- Support the design & production of trade show stands and road show materials
- Provide design elements as required to internal/external sources
- Support any in-house office decor/design of Asian Trails (including trade show & tour desk installations) to ensure brand standards are maintained
- Provide quality control on printed materials where possible (i.e., where physically based); provide remote advice & support to other destinations

**Qualifications / Experience**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design preferred
- Fluent command of verbal and written English is important; other languages are a plus
- Working experience in the travel & tourism industry is an advantage
- Demonstrable experience with creative design tools (Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.)
- Preferred minimum of 5-years’ experience in design or marketing related role
- Experience and knowledge of printing and production is a plus
