**Job Description**
1. Develop designs, verification and validation plans and reports, qualification plans, product specifications per OEM, Regulatory Authorities and Customer requirements.
2. Lead engineering projects according to the engineering process and in accordance with the program timeline by setting an engineering plan until technical solution implementation, including engineering budget and risks.
3. Manage resources (Engineers, Materials,.) to meet the engineering project plan defined.
4. Coordinate with Product Design Owner reviews and approvals of Design for all sustaining engineering activities.
5. Troubleshoot and solve design and integration issues on production lines and on the field.
6. Support manufacturing teams to optimize design, improve processes; reduce part count, Manufacturing costs, assembly error and other factors that affects cost, and quality including tools and equipment.
7. Support Customer, Supplier and internal teams to review design for reliability, manufacturability, localization.
8. Drive design changes by managing Engineering Change Request and Drawing Change Notices and maintain design control by using company's PLM and processes.
9. Maintain state-of-art knowledge in design practices, material, component, and software tools by contributing to lessons learnt database and DFMEA
10. Contribute to Material Review Board and create non-conforming report accordingly.
**Job Requirements**
1. Education not below Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Engineering or equivalent.
2. Confirmed Experience with Design standards, CAD software and Drawing creation/modification.
3. Good mechanical knowledge, electronic appliances knowledge.
4. Experience in project management.
5. Good negotiation and presentation skill
6. Proficient English, both oral and written skills required.
7. Minimum 3 years experiences

**Job Description**
+ Undertake site survey in conduction with other engineers.
+ Contribute to design development, design risk and mitigation and value engineering
+ Attend design team meetings as appropriate.
+ Liaise with internal and external Design Team regarding all relevant technical and other information.
+ Understand and work within the financial and programme constraints of the projects.
+ Understand the basis of fees and costs.

**Knowledge/Skills/Competencies**
+ Experience with Hardware development and testing with Embedded HW, FPGA, High Speed Ethernet, Chassis, Power, Regulatory, and DFT.
+ Experience with bench level testing and test equipment including high speed oscilloscopes, Network analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and network pattern generators.
+ Experience developing Software for hardware test automation with development tools such as C/C++, Python, TCL/TK, LabVIEW, and PERL.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ A strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.

**Detailed Description**
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

+ Design, develop and implement technical solutions in two or more technical areas. Lead smaller projects and may coordinate with other engineers including reviews of their work.
+ Design, modify and implement systems that meet customer and Celestica needs. e.g. creation of Schematics, Bills of material, diagrams, drawings, etc.
+ Develop test plans to address testing requirements provided by a requesting organization. Test plans include test equipment concept, procedures, cost estimate, etc.
+ Coordinate with the requesting organizations to ensure the planned testing will meet their needs.
+ Review and interpret customer documentation, conduct appropriate research, analysis and experiments with minimal direction from senior staff.
+ Creates technical proposals (solution and timelines) based on requirements.
+ Testing, simulation and measuring (including troubleshooting) the performance of systems
+ Keep up to date with relevant industry knowledge and regulations
+ Perform testing, in coordination with the Operations group. Ensure operational discipline is maintained by operators and test engineers and that testing is executed per plan and in a safe manner.
+ Liaison with suppliers, customers, contractors, and other internal teams.

The Lead Engineer, Manufacturing Process is responsible for designing, developing, deploying and optimizing processes for manufacturing to achieve quality cost and delivery goals for Celestica and its customers products.
**Detailed Description**
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
+ Review process, product and identify the new technology, new component, new process. Then provide a solution and development for the new component/ new process/ new technology for PCBA
+ Generate the library history of stencil design and PCBA for traceability
+ Work closely with the design team, customers, supplier, and CTH internal team.
+ Design tooling and develop the process to support the new technology or new process of PCBA assembly.
+ Work with CFT and customer on NPI development, process validation with FA lab technique to make successful transfer from NPI to mass production.
+ Other duties as assigned.

**Typical Experience**
+ Minimum 7 years' relevant experience.

+ Bachelor degree of Engineering or equivalent of Electronics/Electrical, Telecommunication, computer or related fields.

+ Drive and Analyze for continuous improvement activities to maintain/improve TU/ TG/ TB yield targets.
+ Steer OE and Replacement yield improvement activities
+ Provide qualified recommendations to optimize yield in order to meet desired virgin yield targets to peer and involve parties.
+ Perform thorough statistical analysis, interpret data, optimize and coordinate the process via application of standard work procedures for yield management with a primary focus on Plant yield.
+ Quality Report and Information sharing with Supplier Chain (Plant operation) and other department.
+ Bachelor degree of Engineering field or related fields.
+ Has had experiences from Tire manufacturing or related business.
+ Has knowledge of TU, Vector Separation, Knowledge of tire non-conformity root-causes
+ Has knowledge of processes and tools (QDA, FFDACS, MCAT, WAMOS, Grading, PoMS, off standard catalog)
+ Has knowledge of Quality management and structural problem solving tools knowledge (8D, 4S, FMEA, 5WHY, Fish Bone)
+ Able to managing a diverse team (Terms of location, culture, function, age, gender etc.)
+ Ideally had exposure to international projects or worked in a cross cultural environment.
+ Good in English and ability to communicate in multi-national environment
