POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Cost Accountant is responsible for product costing, inventory management, and interdepartmental coordination with customer services, procurement, production, product costing, and logistics. This role requires leadership in physical inventory counts and the implementation of innovative, efficient, and controlled inventory processes. The incumbent must develop and oversee product cost accumulation systems to provide management with critical financial information.

DATA COLLECTION:

• Develop and implement comprehensive data accumulation systems for cost and inventory accounting

COSTING AND INVENTORY:

• Oversee new item setup processes
• Conduct in-depth product cost and inventory analyses, providing management with actionable reports and communicating significant changes to the Pricing Manager
