Currently, they are seeking a Data Center Technician to support day-to-day operations for the data center at the client's site.

The Data Center Executive  will be responsible for supporting daily operations for the data center, including setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and decommissioning of servers, storage, and network equipment. This will involve the following key responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and troubleshoot server, storage, and connectivity issues; analyze diagnostic logs and escalate to vendors when needed.
• Support vendor repairs, Return Material Authorization processes, and hardware replacements.
• Handle installations, moves, changes, and decommissioning of IT equipment.
• Perform inspections, inventory management, and documentation updates.
• Ensure capacity planning across space, power, cooling, and connectivity.
• Follow incident and change management processes, reporting regularly on activities.
• Maintain standards of housekeeping, safety, and operational best practices.

Qualifications:

• High school Diploma or bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Management or related field required.
• CCNA and CCNP certifications are an advantage.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience as a Data Center Technician or IT experience in Data Center environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Thai and English.
• Experience in troubleshooting Ethernet network connectivity issues and troubleshooting server hardware issues from major vendors.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and operate new data center infrastructure across teams.
• Report issues and follow data center procedures to troubleshoot and diagnose somewhat issues with equipment or infrastructure as they arise, and applying the resources needed to resolve identified issues.
• Maintain the security and integrity of data, track various forms of media to check for non-standard data security issues (e.g., data was not properly erased) handled in accordance with Google security standards.

THE WORK:

·    Prepare detailed cost estimates for all phases of data center construction, including civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, ensuring alignment with the owner's objectives.

·    Review and analyze project documentation, including drawings and specifications, to determine the full scope of work and associated costs. Perform precise quantity takeoffs for labor, materials, equipment, overhead and contingency ensuring alignment with the complete project scope.

·    Participate in design reviews, pre-bid meetings, and value engineering sessions to refine project budgets and scopes. Liaise with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure estimates align with the owner's project goals and financial constraints.

·    Identify potential cost risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate uncertainties related to pricing, scheduling, and market conditions. Integrate risk analysis into cost estimates to ensure realistic and achievable project budgets.

·    Prepare detailed cost estimate reports and presentations for owner stakeholders, highlighting key cost drivers and assumptions.

·    Develop cost models and benchmarks tailored to owner-specific requirements and historical data.  Build and maintain a database of cost benchmarks and historical data specific to data center construction. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all assumptions, calculations, and revisions to facilitate audits and future reference.
