Education To qualify for an internship with the United Nations Internship Programme, the following conditions must be met: Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
a) be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); or
Have a demonstrated keen interest in the work of the United Nations and have a personal commitment to the ideals of the Charter; and.
Have a demonstrated ability to successfully interact with individuals of different cultural backgrounds and beliefs, which includes willingness to try and understand and be tolerant of differing opinions and views.
Demonstrated ability in knowledge and data management, use of data management/analytics.
LanguagesEnglish and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. Fluency in spoken and written English is required for the internship. Knowledge of another UN official language is an advantage.
The selection procedure may also include written test and an interview.
**Special Notice REMOTE INTERNSHIPS (COVID-19)**: "In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, applicants may be requested to undertake the internship remotely in view of constraints regarding visa issuance, international travel and access to UN premises. **Your future role**
You'll Ensure that the industrial Master Data are well implemented in the different systems. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business train the users, participate to the Key Users network and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of** **perform the tests before implementation or update, but also ensure the data migration and eventually pilot the data rework.
We’ll look to you for:
- Is the Key User for Industrial Information System Tools: ERP, SES.
- Interface with Project Industrialisation for BOM requirements
- Build and maintain up to date the Industrial ERP data, including the Bill of Material, the Process routings, the Configuration Management data
- Build and update maintenance strategy and development of maintenance plan, task list and Service Order configuration
