Lumentum is seeking a Design Verification Test Engineer to join our team in Thailand. This role is critical in ensuring the performance, functionality and reliability of our products through systematic verification and characterization processes. This position will be responsible for planning and executing test activities, developing and integrating hardware and software solutions, analyzing test data, and supporting product development across all phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with global product development team to understand the product architecture, design principles and algorithms
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather and clarify test requirements, ensuring alignment with product specifications and customer expectations
• Define and execute verification test strategies for optical network components, covering both hardware and software aspects
• Design and develop test hardware and software to enable efficient and repeatable testing
• Analyze test data to validate product performance and identify potential issues
• Contribute to product characterization during the design phase by helping to establish key performance metrics and guiding design decisions
• Provide support for root cause analysis and failure investigation

Key Qualifications:

• B.Sc. or higher in Electrical Engineer, Optical Engineer, or a related field
• Knowledge of fiber optic modules or component test development would be considered an asset
• Experience with test system development for optical or electronic components
• Understanding of verification and validation methodologies
• Familiarity with optical network technologies is a plus
• Experience in programming such as VB.NET, C#
• Proficient in data analysis tools and scription such as Python, MATLAB
• Fluent in Thai and English required.

1.เขียนแบบ Parts Assembly Drawing Jig-Fixture Automation โดยใช้โปรแกรม Solidworks ได้เป็นอย่างดี

2.วัดขนาด และ เก็บข้อมูล บันทึกรายละเอียดหน้างาน ทำการออกแบบงาน ตามความต้องการของลูกค้า

3.ประสานงานกับลูกค้านอกสถานที่

Responsibilities:

1. Create 2D drawings for component manufacturing orders.

2. Design machine components in 3D.

3. Simulate the operation of devices and components using 3D simulation software.

4. Coordinate with external suppliers and internal departments to request quotations and procure equipment.

5. Install, assemble, and test designed equipment on the machines, ensuring quality inspection before delivery to customers.

6. Prepare and control design documentation in compliance with the company's standard document control system.

7. Estimate costs and prepare quotations, including calculating production costs for custom-designed equipment.

Requirements:

1. Male only, Thai Nationality only , Aged 22-25 years old.

2. Bachelor of Engineering Program in Mechatronic Engineering only.

3. At least 0-2 years about Mechanic drawing.

4. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

5. Able to use SolidWorks for 3D modeling, drawing, assembly and simulation.

6. Basic mechanical skills such as disassembly and assembly of equipment.

7. Basic knowledge of electrical systems (preferred).

8. Good communication and coordination skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
