Position: Senior Digital Media Planner - Digital Media Planning Manager (Report to Digital Media Planning Director)
Job Description Summary
We are currently seeking a Digital Media Planner at the senior to manager level to serve as a key client and account management stakeholder. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing digital media strategies, targeting audience plans, and allocating budgets according to briefs and campaign objectives.
Senior Planner
- Act as a key client and account management stakeholder between client service teams and internal working teams (Media biddable, SEM, content, strategist team) on a day-to-day basis from taking briefs, present media plans and manage day-to-day campaign implementation.
- Multi-task and manage across different client requirements.
- Develop and implement digital media strategies, target audience plans and budget allocations according to briefs and campaign objectives.
- Craft optimal media plans with the right media solutions and tactics across paid search, social and biddable (such as include Google Adwords (SEM), Display Network, Meta Ads, Programmatic or other digital media) to achieve KPIs.
- Oversee implementation, and reporting of Performance across multiple clients.
- Set expectations and deliver on multiple projects at the same time
- Be able to provide meaningful insights and analysis when sending reports to clients / agency partner teams.
- Be responsible and accountable for the timely delivery of reports and recommendations.
Planning Manager
- Manage a team of media planners and assist the Asso. Digital Media Director / Digital Media Director on a day-to-day basis, ensuring that we deliver high client satisfaction scores.
- Lead on day to day running of the account with clients & agency partners.
- Management and development of key client relationships for the accounts.
- Ensure that the teams are delivering strategies that meet clients' briefs whilst balancing agency trading objectives.
- Develop campaign presentations including insights, media strategy, channel tactics, budget and flighting strategy and measurement framework.
- Provide guidance to team members in order to deliver their individual personal growth targets.
- Complete oversight of the output from the team including planning, execution, quality checks and processes and the day-to-day project management of media solutions.
- Manage and ensure that each team member fully understands and can deliver against clients' KPIs and business goals.
- Manage upwards to ensure any challenges are resolved quickly and timely.
Qualifications:
You should possess:
- Senior Planner : 1-3 Years in advertising, digital advertising or marketing or related fields.
- Planning Manager : 3-5 years of proven experience in the media industry with a solid understanding of digital media across paid search, social, biddable and programmatic.
- Strong Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills.
- Proficiency in Google Ads, Facebook Ads manager and other ad platforms.
- Solid understanding of digital media across paid search, social, biddable and programmatic.
- Proficiency in any design or creative software such as Photoshop or Illustrator would be advantageous.
