  10. Oversee the design process from initial concept to completion

  11. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  12. Collaborate with Project Managers to establish project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
  13. Conduct regular design reviews and provide constructive feedback to project teams
  14. Monitor project progress and address any design-related issues or challenges
  15. Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards
  16. Team Leadership and Development

  17. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of designers (senior designers, designers, and potentially junior staff)

  18. Provide regular performance feedback and conduct performance reviews
  19. Identify Team Leadership and Development needs for the design team
  20. Foster a collaborative and supportive studio environment
  21. Assist in recruiting and onboarding new design team members
  22. Collaboration and Communication

  23. Collaborate effectively with other departments (business development, marketing, project management, finance) to ensure project success

  24. Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, presenting design concepts, gathering feedback, and managing expectations
  25. Represent dwp at client meetings, presentations, and industry events
  26. Marketing and Business Development Support

  27. Collaborate with the business development team to prepare proposals and presentations

  28. Contribute to the development of marketing materials showcasing dwp's design capabilities
  29. Provide project information and updates for use in the company's CRM system (CRM ) and marketing materials
  30. Work with Marketing team to support  submissions for international design awards
  31. Administration

  32. Prepare regular reports to the Managing Director on design and studio performance

  33. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with dwp policies
  34. Quality Management

  35. Ensure that all design work meets dwp's quality standards and client expectations

  36. Implement and maintain design review processes
  37. Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the design team
  38. Technology & AI Integration

  39. Adaptability and willingness to integrate new technologies, including AI, into workflows

  40. Capabilities to utilize AI tools, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI, to enhance efficiency and innovation
  41. Design exploration and visualization Using AI to generate design options, create visualizations, and explore different aesthetic styles
  42. Information gathering and synthesis Employing AI to research building codes, gather project data, and summarize complex information
  43. Process optimization Leveraging AI to streamline project workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and improve collaboration

Job Summary:

This role requires a proven B2B sales leader with exceptional English communication skills, strong market development expertise, and the ability to build sustainable growth in both local and international markets.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Sales Vision: Define and implement the overall B2B sales and export strategy to drive revenue growth and secure market leadership.
  • Market Penetration: Identify and capture opportunities in high-potential markets, while building and managing a strong business development pipeline.
  • Strategic Account Management: Build, manage, and expand long-term partnerships with key OEM clients to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Profitability and Pricing Strategy: Lead pricing and margin management, balancing competitiveness with sustainable profitability.
  • Sales Leadership & Talent Development: Mentor and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering accountability, performance excellence, and strategic thinking.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Production, R&D, and Logistics teams to ensure sales strategies align with operational capabilities and customer needs.
  • Market Insights & Reporting: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market performance to provide actionable insights to senior leadership.

Job Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Marketing, International Trade, or a related field.
  • 10-15 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong track record in B2B sales, export trade, and strategic pricing within the food ingredients or FMCG industry.
  • Excellent command of English (both written and spoken).
  • Experience managing regional sales operations is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills with a results-driven mindset.
