Job Description:

• Operate drilling machines to process metal, gemstones, or jewelry components according to design and company standards
• Ensure accuracy and quality of drilled parts to meet specifications
• Replace cutting tools (Tooling) according to tool life schedule
• Perform random product quality inspection during production every 1 hour
• Maintain and clean drilling machines and related tools regularly

PTTEP Services Limited

Supervisor, Drilling Operations is responsible for supervising on-site drilling, completion, testing and workover operations to ensure safe, efficient and cost effective working environment. The jobholder also ensures well operations are safely conducted as per the Drilling Program and in compliance with company's SSHE and Well Management System requirements

• Supervise and provide daily instructions to drilling rig and third-party service contractors in compliance with company's SSHE and Well Management System requirements.
• Ensure service company personnel are aware of their duties and that all required personnel, materials and equipment at the rig are checked for readiness.
• Ensure all applicable regulations are adhered to by all parties.
• Maintain constant awareness of well bore conditions and operating constraints.
• Initiate changes to the pre-agreed well operation program as and when required, to protect personnel, environment, equipment and the well.
• Ensure all rig personnel are competent with equipment usage.
• Audit the work performed by the drilling contractor and third-party service contractors to ensure they comply with terms of contracts and agreements.
• Ensure that all cost control and material control reports are completed as required by company's standards and the regulatory bodies.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Review the previous drilling practice and performance including the well design & constructions, operations, bit (ROP) performance and recommend improvement.
• Review the pressure and temperature profile of the given field operations to develop the well design and construction, casing and mud-weight.
• Liaising with specialist contractors and suppliers, such as cement companies or suppliers of drilling fluids
• Work closely with Geologist/Geophysicist/Petroleum Engineer, other professionals and service provider during the planning stage to ensure the well design and trajectory are within the drillable limit, achievable and drilling process is safe and efficient
• Review and influence development of detailed procedures for drilling and completions to aid in performance and cost efficiency with ability to work in a wide range of pressures and depths
• Develop drilling programs for assigned projects in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Prepare cost estimates for drilling operations and submit to management for approval
• Review and monitor AFE vs Field Estimated vs Actual drilling costs to identify areas of needed improvement or understanding
• Supervise the daily drilling operations whether in the office and/or at site during the drilling of wells and monitor progress against the approved program
• Adjust the drilling program as necessary to achieve objectives within the approved budget
• Ensure that all reporting is factually and complete. Keep accurate records of all drilling operations, including costs, footage drilled, etc.

• Adhering to environmental protection standards, in some cases through direct discussion with local governments to ensure compliance with legislative requirements. Supervising mudlogging, and wireline services personnel and monitoring quality control in relation to these services;
• Keeping detailed records, writing reports, completing daily, weekly and post-well reporting logs and sending these to appropriate departments.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of MWD (measuring while drilling) tools, such as gamma and resistivity, as geosteering becomes increasingly important.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
• 10–15 years of experience in onshore drilling operations, with strong exposure to logistics and rig management.
• Proven track record in planning and executing drilling programs safely and efficiently.
• Strong understanding of well design, drilling fluids, casing design, and directional drilling.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and contractors.

Senior Supervisor, Drilling Operations is responsible for supervising drilling activities at well site, in coordination with Superintendent, Drilling Operations, to ensure a safe and efficient drilling operations progress according to the issued drilling program. The jobholder also ensures all the well site operations are conducted according to company's Well Management System, SSHE Management System, Management of Contractors and Suppliers Standard and the local regulatory requirements

• Plan and manage onsite daily drilling operations issue drilling Instructions in accordance with the office issued drilling program and procedures. Prepare and discuss lookahead plan and/or project planning with all supervisors onsite.
• Lead and supervise the execution of the drilling, completion, well testing and work-over program and ensure that all operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner as well as compliance with company's standards
• Drilling operations are conducted in accordance with company's SSHE Management System, Well Management System (WMS), Management of Contractors and Suppliers Standard, and the local regulatory requirements
• Organize, coordinate and supervise the drilling contractors and service companies to ensure a safe, smooth and efficient operations
