Job Description
PTTEP Services Limited**Job Purpose**:
Superintendent, Drilling Operations is responsible for managing, coordinating and supervising on-site drilling, completion, well testing and workover operations. He/she ensures safe, efficient and cost-effective working environment in order to achieve company’s objectives.
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Plan and execute all aspects of the drilling program. Maintain the operational integrity of well construction.
- Manage and supervise onsite team on daily drilling activities, and ensure compliance with company management systems and industry best practices
- Ensure that drilling operations are performed in compliance with applicable legal and company's Well Management System, SSHE Management System requirements
- Review and approve operational procedures and programs
- Responsible in ensuring all necessary government approvals for drilling are obtained on time
- Liaise with drilling unit, drilling contractor and government authorities
- Participate and recommend selection of contractors and service companies
- Manage recruitment and performance of all drilling operation personnel
- Participate in the audit of suppliers’ performance and capability and make recommendation for proper rectification actions
- Develop operation staff through continuous coaching and mentoring. Ensure contractors' capabilities therough contract management.
- Implement continuous improvement processes in order to maximise the cost efficiency of drilling operations
- Implement SSHE standards and ensuring operation personnel follow company’s SSHE MS requirements
**Professional Knowledge & Experiences**:
- Bachelor Degree in engineering or related field
- For engineering background: 10-year experience in offshore drilling operations with at least 5-year experience in senior drilling supervisor position
- For non-engineering background: at least 10-year experience in offshore drilling operations as senior drilling supervisor position
- Experience in exploration, appraisal, and development well operations
- Experience in Tubing Stem Testing (TST)
- Experience in Offline Activities in Gulf of Thailand
- Exposure to completion and workover
- Have certificates in well control (IWCF)
- Knowledge of well site operations to supervise drilling, completion and fluids/cement programs execution
- Good command of written and spoken English

- Supervise drilling contractors and service companies. Ensure drilling operations are conducted as per program in a safe and efficient manner
- Report Drilling Superintendent if there is any deviation, for troubleshooting or corrective action
- Be On Scene Commander (OSC) and lead the drilling contractors and third party service contractors as per Emergency Response Plan. Perform immediate actions according to the emergency procedures in emergency situation.
- Coach Night Drilling Operations Supervisor
- Coordinate with related parties for the material, equipment and personnel movement to rig
- Follow up cost control, reporting and equipment inventory on rig
- Seek for performance improvement and cost reduction opportunity in compliance with legal and Company's SSHE MS requirements
- Actively participate in all aspects of SSHE including the pre-job safety meetings, JSA review, pre-tour meetings, risk assessments, etc.

As an R&M Specialist, DD in Songkhla, you will be responsible for more than just inspection, testing, and qualification. This role also covers the repair and maintenance of field tools, as well as performing preventive and corrective maintenance, retrofits, and upgrades to electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment, data acquisition systems, downhole tools, and communication equipment.
Work will be carried out following company guidelines, technical work instructions, test procedures, schematics, engineering notices, and under the guidance and supervision of a Senior R&M Specialist, Lead Specialist, or Supervisor when required. Training will be provided for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
+ Repair and maintain machines, equipment, or structures using hand tools (hammers, wrenches, drills), lifting devices (hoists, cranes), and precision measuring/testing instruments.
+ Assemble, install, and repair wiring, mechanical, electrical, and electronic components, machinery, and equipment.
+ Assist with - and potentially lead - troubleshooting, scheduled preventive maintenance, and modifications on a wide range of electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment, including data acquisition systems and downhole tools.
