Responsibilities may include the following:
- Installs, Moves, Adds, Changes (IMAC)
- Operational Monitoring
- Incident and Problem determination and resolution
- Technical support and Break-fix
- Software re-imaging
- Network connectivity support within the Site
- Disaster Recovery support activities at supported Sites
- Photo Department support including workstation, mouse, keyboard, monitor, scanner and label printer
- Office Equipment support including, but not limited to: servers, office workstations, mouse, keyboard, monitor, co-ordination of readerboard support, printers, print sharing devices, co-ordinate support for time clocks, hand-held ordering device, co-ordinate support for RF access point, and wired “on desk” phone devices (VoIP or DECT)
- Co-ordinate Security Equipment support, excluding resolution of Hardware defects including, but not limited to: CCTV cameras, security gates, security pads
- Network Gear support including, but not limited to: switches, routers, hubs, cabling, and associated cabinets
- Support Customer Third Party when testing miscellaneous equipment including but not limited to: lighting panel communication, UPS equipment and generators
- Support for Customer-supported Software and Hardware
Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field or technical training.
- 2+ years of experience in technical support (equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered)
- A+ Certification preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Systems (Windows Platform, MS SQL, MS Exchange, WSUS, Active Directory, DC/DNS/DHCP), backup, storage, and antivirus systems and related devices.
- Experience with network system installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Experience building AV/video conferencing solutions, telephony systems, messaging platforms, or collaboration tools.
- Experience working for a Managed Service Provider and meeting SLA requirements preferred.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people in a professional manner.

As an Associate Technician - Field Services, you will be responsible for effectively performing assigned tasks in a field service setting, some of which will require general datacenter, electrical, mechanical, and/or hydraulic aptitude. You will be responsible for setup and operational functions, assembly, equipment operation, vehicle operation, general maintenance, and housekeeping at assigned project locations. You may be required to travel or relocate to customer sites for project-based work.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Completes corporate and site-specific safety orientation and training courses.
+ Ensures compliance with operational, audit, safety and all other company policies.
+ Performs work to established quality standards while ensuring safe work practices and maintaining sound customer service.
+ Conducts field tasks in support of field operations
+ May operate Class A combination vehicles and trailers, and Class B vehicles, in support of various field activities in both an interstate and intrastate environment.
+ Maintains all tracking forms, logs and records as required, both electronic and written.
+ Responsible for inspection and limited routine maintenance.
+ Handles inbound and outbound material shipments, material transport, placement, staging, storage and organization. Other tasks may include receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and wire cutting.
+ Performs quality assurance inspections as required.
+ Prepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods to ensure timely service. Loads, secures and unloads cargo.
**Qualifications:**
+ High School Degree or Equivalent required
+ Licenses/Certificates/Designations: CDL Class A required
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred
+ 1 year of field service technician experience
+ 1 year of Class A combination vehicle driving and cargo carrying
+ Class 7 Forklift certification
+ Good communication and customer centric attitude
+ Ability to make technical decisions and use sound judgement in a field setting with limited supervision
+ First Aid, AED, & CPR certified preferred
**Physical Expectations:**
+ Work is physically strenuous, and workers are required to lift heavy packages up to 50 pounds.
+ Work may require excessive bending or stooping.

Perform all Service Operations activities according to SITA standards and procedures maximizing customer satisfaction by the delivery of first-class support activities.

**What you will do?**
- Provide field operations support to internal and external customers in accordance with the terms of the customer contract and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- To ensure the correct functioning and maintenance of all internal and external customer IT equipment and services.
- When required, act as the customer SPOC and co-ordinate the scheduling of the onsite intervention with Customer's, internal resolver groups, and the Service Desk ensuring the highest level of customer services and communications are maintained to resolve the fault and incident within the prescribed SLA.
- Carry out local repairs of faulty equipment and services to the highest standards and co-ordinate the resolution with the appropriate resolver group.
- Ensure shortest possible repair cycle by initiating the timely return of faulty SITA and Customer equipment according to the customer maintenance contract and SLAs and monitoring closely the replacement of faulty items and spares.
- Manage the replacement of faulty equipment through the use of spares, and ensuring the timely replenishment the spare according to prescribed availability and sparing policy.
- Carry out site surveys for new customer premises for preparation for new product and services installation under the guidance of senior team members.
- Adhere to installation guidelines and industry best practices in order to deliver quality Field Operations.
- Use the appropriate tools and equipment to perform the installation, intervention, and repairs in accordance with the Field Operations guidelines and instructions where provided.
- Reporting and escalating all observed problems to proper SITA operational escalation points.
- Carry out preventive maintenance of equipment in accordance with agreed schedules and to manufacturer specifications.
- Report on the monthly performance of the workshop and provide feedback to the Global Operations regional management teams.
- Perform tests on hardware and software components and be responsible for the co-ordination of local acceptance testing with Customers and 3rd parties.
- Manage local suppliers in the provision of services for the SITA Field Operations centre and report on services provided to management.
- Confirm and prioritize day-to-day tasks, as and when needed.
**Qualifications**:
**Who you are**
- Minimum 1 year's experience in onsite support activities and repairs of PCsPrinters
- Must have dealt directly with external customers delivering to SLAs. Should be experienced in working at Customer locations.
- Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Knowledge and understanding of LAN protocols
- Ability to support and troubleshoot Ethernet networks.
- Understanding and the ability to install and configure servers and workstations (Microsoft/Unix/Thin Clients) including operating system software to component level.
- Understanding of WAN infrastructures and data communications technologies such as DSL, ISDN, Leased Lines, IP VPN, Frame Relay, ATM.
- Knowledge of VSAT required fro some regions.
- Ability to support Cisco LAN/WAN equipment

- Experience of working at Customer locations.
- Understanding and the ability to install and configure servers and workstations (Microsoft/Unix/Thin Clients) including operating system software to component level.
- Understanding of WAN infrastructures and data communications technologies such as DSL ISDN Leased Lines IP VPN Frame Relay ATM.
- Knowledge and understanding of VSAT required for some regions.
- Minimum Diploma / Certificate in Computer Science Electronic Engineering or equivalent country IT qualification. Working towards CompTIA A+
- Good conversational English knowledge
**Work Location: Koh Samui Airport. This role requires the successful applicant to work on shift schedule and during weekends and public holidays. Transport, meal and Shift allowance also provided.
