JOB PURPOSE:
Develop, maintain and implement EHS programs, monitor company activities and update local EHS regulations to ensure compliance with corporate standards, procedures and relevant statutory requirements relating to Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S); Coordinate with Department Managers for other EHS matters.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Develop and maintain EHS procedures related to corporate requirements to comply with EHS Standards, Procedures, and regulatory requirements.
2. Work closely with functional teams on the implementation of EHS procedures, annual improvement plans and related programs to compliance. Report to line manager and related functions for issues, provide services and propose improvement actions required.
3. Communicate and network with appropriate Regional and Global resources to support local EHS implementation and roll-out of various EHS programs and events.
4. Identify EHS training needs in OH&S for all associates and contractors and maintain the training programs to meet business requirements.
5. Drive and maintain site safety programs including but not limited to Hazard Communication, Permit to Work System, Emergency Response, Behavioral Safety, Incident Investigation, Contractor Management, Process Safety and Site Security, to prevent human injury and loss of property.
6. Manage site occupational health and industrial hygiene program to recognize, evaluate and provide supports of risk assessment and control in workplaces to acceptable levels, including advice and assistances to associates and management to improve performance.
7. Manage planned and unplanned EHS Audit Program to ensure conformance with Company requirements with regard to OH&S.
8. Control EHS procedures and related documents in systems to maintain the integrity.
9. Maintain EHS regulatory compliance program, keep EHS regulatory information updated and provide to functional owners towards compliance.
10. Engage all stakeholders in integrating EHS requirements in all levels of operations and activities.
11. Collect and prepare EHS data for reporting and submission to Region, Corporate and local authorities; also perform data analysis as appropriate.
12. Coordinate with Department Managers in all departments to monitoring pre-defined EHS activities (e.g. Environment, Process Safety Management, Product Stewardship, Distribution Safety) both internally and externally.
Qualification and experience
· At least 5 years' experience in chemical safety management
· Hold Bachelor in Occupational Health and Safety/Chemical Engineering or similar
· Hold certified EHS Professional officer from Thailand Department of Labor is a plus
· Working experience in ISO9001, 14001, 45001 is a plus
· Good understanding of local laws and regulations in selected areas, also the regulatory process and agencies that formulate and enforce them.
· Good documentation capability, plus organizing and coordinating skills
· Good skill in Microsoft applications of Words, Excel and PowerPoint
· Fluent in Thai and good English command both in writing and speaking

Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- EHS compliance assessment and evaluation of compliance status
- Implement and continual improvement of Environment Health and safety management system ISO14001: 2015, ISO45001:2018, RBA and other standard requirement related
- Co-ordinate of the ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 surveillance, RBA VAP by internal auditors and external auditors, including lead for supplier audit such as waste vendor onsite audit.
- Internal audit and patrol workplace/SOP per Integration Management System ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001.
- Maintenance and follow up of the internal audit and a corrective action request (CAR) system.
- BCP program: Prepare the Business Continuity Document and emergency preparedness including document related if there is an accident in the workplace to management review.
- Identify environmental aspect and significant aspect to reduce environmental problem.
- Identify hazard and to avoid accident/incident from happening, providing, and arranging EHS training for all staff properly, and managing maintenance safety equipment in good condition.
- Responsible for EIA compliance (Environmental Impact Assessment) and all permitting.
- Verify all reports generated within the environmental department and ensure that all reports and completed within a timely manner.
- Assist Customer Service Engineering department for all environmental permit clarification, application, and approval.
- Support the safety training of employees such as general safety awareness, newcomer EHS orientation, risk assessment, RBA requirement
- To promote safety awareness and implementation within all operational sites
- Deliver safety, health, environmental, and relevant trainings according to applicable requirements to employees
- Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time related to the EHS management system
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Health and Safety or Environmental Engineering or Chemical Engineering and Science
- A minimum of 5-7 years in EHS function or relevant working experiences
PREFERRED:
- Other Requirements: Registered safety officer in professional level is preferred
- Hazardous substance controller
SKILLS:
- Strong listening, communication, interpersonal, and relational skills are required to develop good relationships within the team
- Technical knowledge related OHS&EMS management and RBA
- Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and work collaboratively in a team environment
- Skilled in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoints, Power BI, etc)
