Job Title
EHS Specialist

Summary
The EHS specialist will be assistant to the EHS Manager and responsible for the development of all company safety operations concerning the fire, emergency, safety, and environmental programs. The EHS specialist is also responsible for all safety policies including the federal, state, and local regulations and codes. They generally carry out various awareness campaigns for promoting the culture of safety. The EHS specialist may carry out routine inspections to check whether all the safety measures are working properly. The EHS specialist is one of the most important job positions in huge industries carrying out production using various hazardous chemicals.

Responsibilities Include

  • Ensuring plant EHS Standards and programs, EHS management system effectiveness and controls i.e. audit or measure necessary to be certain high standards are met and maintained.
  • Ensures proper and thorough investigations of incidents associated with operation on and off sire involving safety, health and/or environmental consequences.
  • Assures compliance with all Governmental and Company standards for Environment, Health and Safety.
  • Responsible for the effectiveness of safety training programs for the safety introduction of all new employees.
  • Maintain an overall environmental management program including air emissions, wastewater treatment and solid waste handling.
  • Maintains an effective industrial hygiene and health program to monitor employee exposures to chemical and physical risks ensuring employee health maintain.
  • Provide the effectiveness EHS training programs and safety introduction for contractors and new employees.
  • Ensure overall Environmental Management Program including Waste Management, Environmental Monitoring Program (IEE Monitoring) Effectiveness.
  • Ensure effective industrial hygiene and Health Program to monitor employee's exposures to chemical and physical risks ensuring employee health maintain. Including Industrial hygiene workplace monitoring.
  • Ensure effectiveness of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, environment compliance program including support CSR program.
  • Responsible for EHS Element Owner, preferably Element # MS-09-IH Industrial Hygiene for element # MS-IH01, MS-IH02, MS-IH04, MS-IH05 and MS-IH09. Element #MS09-Environment as MS-Env01: Waste management
  • Ensure effective PPE providing and management.
  • Coordination with Site Sustainability Leader to achieve Energy conservation management program.
  • Assist the manager to manage the plant security system.
  • Other administration task; EHS monthly compliance report, PR-PO, etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environment and Occupational Health or any related Engineering fields.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Safety, Health and Environmental.
  • Computer literacy and good command of English

JOB PURPOSE:

Develop, maintain and implement EHS programs,  monitor company activities and update local EHS regulations to ensure compliance with corporate standards, procedures and relevant statutory requirements relating to Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S); Coordinate with Department Managers for other EHS matters.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1.   Develop and maintain EHS procedures related to corporate requirements to comply with EHS Standards, Procedures, and regulatory requirements.

2. Work closely with functional teams on the implementation of EHS procedures, annual improvement plans and related programs to compliance. Report to line manager and related functions for issues, provide services and propose improvement actions required.

4.  Identify EHS training needs in OH&S for all associates and contractors and maintain the training programs to meet business requirements.

5.  Drive and maintain site safety programs including but not limited to Hazard Communication, Permit to Work System, Emergency Response, Behavioral Safety, Incident Investigation, Contractor Management, Process Safety and Site Security, to prevent human injury and loss of property.

6.  Manage site occupational health and industrial hygiene program to recognize, evaluate and provide supports of risk assessment and control in workplaces to acceptable levels, including advice and assistances to associates and management to improve performance.

7. Manage planned and unplanned EHS Audit Program to ensure conformance with Company requirements with regard to OH&S.

8. Control EHS procedures and related documents in systems to maintain the integrity.

9. Maintain EHS regulatory compliance program, keep EHS regulatory information updated and provide to functional owners towards compliance.

10. Engage all stakeholders in integrating EHS requirements in all levels of operations and activities.

11. Collect and prepare EHS data for reporting and submission to Region, Corporate and local authorities; also perform data analysis as appropriate.

12. Coordinate with Department Managers in all departments to monitoring pre-defined EHS activities (e.g. Environment, Process Safety Management, Product Stewardship, Distribution Safety) both internally and externally.

Qualification and experience

·    At least 5 years' experience in chemical safety management

·    Hold Bachelor in Occupational Health and Safety/Chemical Engineering or similar

·    Hold certified EHS Professional officer from Thailand Department of Labor is a plus

·    Working experience in ISO9001, 14001, 45001 is a plus

·    Good understanding of local laws and regulations in selected areas, also the regulatory process and agencies that formulate and enforce them.

·    Good documentation capability, plus organizing and coordinating skills

·    Good skill in Microsoft applications of Words, Excel and PowerPoint

·    Fluent in Thai and good English command both in writing and speaking

·    Good team player. Strong stakeholder engagement

*What You Will Do *
The Senior EHS is responsible for the engineering and quality assurance of part of a major project or for a complete small project.

  • Ensure compliance of EHS management system with Kenvue EHS standards, applicable local EHS laws and regulations, fulfill ISO14001:2015 requirements

  • Ensure 100% Corrective and Preventive action closure on the with effectiveness using the 3C approach (Correct, Complete, Continue)
  • Promote proactive reporting of Unsafe conditions & Unsafe Behaviors
  • Analyze trends and implement preventive actions to reduce operational risks.
  • Periodically conduct safety inspections throughout the facilities to drive the Safety Culture and commitment to proactively prevent operational risk

They are now seeking for an EHS specialist (Environmental Health & Safety Specialist) to join their expanding team in Thailand. The successful candidate will have strong experience in conducting safety inspections, emergency management and incident investigation in large-scale construction projects (Data Center experience is highly preferred)

Kindly note that this role requires fluencies in Chinese reading/ writing/ listening/ speaking.

Responsibilities:

  1. Safety System Development & Implementation: Oversee on-site safety production and civilized construction, strictly enforcing national, local, and corporate safety regulations and standards.

  2. Daily Patrols & Inspections: Conduct daily safety inspections of the construction site to promptly identify and correct unsafe practices and conditions; organize regular specialized safety checks (e.g., scaffolding, temporary electricity, large machinery).

  3. Risk Control & Hazard Management: Participate in hazard identification and risk assessments; maintain a hazard tracking register; supervise the implementation of corrective actions for closed-loop management.

  4. Safety Training & Briefings: Organize three-level safety induction for new workers and conduct routine safety training sessions; monitor and ensure safety technical briefings are delivered for project phases and tasks.

  5. Emergency Management: Assist in developing project emergency response plans and organize/participate in emergency drills.

Mandatory Qualifications:

· Education: College diploma or higher. A degree in Construction Engineering, Safety Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

· Certifications: Must possess a valid "Full-time Safety Production Management Personnel Certificate (C Certificate)" issued by the local construction authority. Possession of a Certified Safety Engineer license is highly advantageous.

· Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction site safety management. Experience on large-scale building construction, municipal works, or data center construction projects is preferred.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, and implement an overall investment risk management process for the organization.
  • Assess product investment risks, identify and monitor risks affecting the business.
  • Oversee routine risk control and monitoring processes, as well as risk report dissemination.
  • Develop risk management analysis and control tools using Excel/VBA.
  • Implement pre-trade risk control rules in the Charles River Development (CRD) system.
  • Calculate fund performance measurement and conduct performance attribution analysis.
  • Prepare proposals on the risk control framework for both existing and new products forthe Risk Management Committee.
  • Support the preparation of data and reports for relevant business units (BUs) as requested

Qualifications

  • High caliber, bachelor's degree or above in risk management, finance, economics mathematics, computer science, physics, statistics, engineering and/or other related fields.
  • Experienced in investment risk management field at least 5 years
  • Familiar with investment products
  • Independent, disciplined, and committed to ensuring accuracy in all tasks
  • Strong skill in Programming and Microsoft applications, preferably Excel / VBA
  • Strong quantitative skills with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English as well as Thai language skills
  • Must possess good judgment, logic, ability to multi-task and strong personality
  • Must be able to perform well under pressure

Specific Knowledge/ Skills

  • Hand-on financial risk modelling experience is preferred
  • Having CFA / CISA / FRM / PRM professional certification is a plus

Responsibilities
  1. Design, implement, and periodically review the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) policy and manual.
  2. Develop and implement a risk management system, including Key Risk Indicators (KRI), risk criteria, risk register, mitigation plans, and monitoring processes.
  3. Provide training and advisory support on risk management practices to relevant departments.
  4. Coordinate with KBT and communicate risk policies to ensure alignment across SKC, KBL, KBC, KLC, and SKL.

  10. Support the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) in IT risk identification and business impact analysis.


Requirements
  • Proven experience in analyzing and assessing multiple risk types, including strategic, operational, financial, and IT risks.
  • Strong proficiency in quantitative analysis and the use of data analytics tools.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented mindset, committed to high-quality outcomes in a result-oriented environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business perspectives effectively.
