About the role

We are seeking an Electronics Assembly Technician Trainee to join our team at DMR Technologies Co.,LTD. (Thailand) in Nong Prue, Bang Lamung Chon Buri. This is a full-time position where you will gain hands-on experience in drones assembly and manufacturing.

1. Assemble electronic components and modules following strict quality standards
2. Perform soldering, wiring, and other assembly tasks to build electronic products
3. Test and inspect assembled products to ensure functionality and quality
4. Maintain a clean and organised work area to support efficient production
5. Participate in ongoing training to continuously improve your skills
6. Collaborate with the international technical-production team to identify and resolve any issues

What we're looking for

1. Strong attention to detail and able to work with precision
2. Willing to learn new skills and technologies related to electronics assembly
3. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
4. Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment
5. Effective problem-solving and communication skills
6. Previous experience in electronics assembly or manufacturing is preferred but not essential

Duties:

• Lead the Production Engineering team while working hands-on as a playing manager.
• Plan, design, and set up production lines, equipment, and tooling for new/existing products.
• Improve manufacturing processes for productivity, quality, safety, and cost efficiency.
• Solve technical issues in production and support stable line operations.
• Manage projects for process optimization and new product introduction (NPI).
• Train and develop engineers/technicians, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

MUST

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operation.
• More than 2 years of experience in production engineering.
• Ability to lead and train teams to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for reporting and data analysis.
• Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities.
• Understanding of safety standards and quality control.

NICE TO HAVE

• Management experience in a manufacturing industry.
• Working experience at plastic component manufacturing company

Job Description:

Machine Operation & Setup

- Operate and set up SMT (Surface Mount Technology) machines according to production requirements.

- Load and verify production programs to ensure accuracy before starting operations.

- Install feeders, nozzles, and materials in line with the Bill of Materials (BOM).

Production Monitoring

- Monitor machine performance during production to ensure quality and efficiency.

- Conduct first article inspection and verify placement accuracy.

- Record production data and report abnormalities to supervisors or engineers.

- Troubleshooting & Problem Solving

- Identify and resolve minor machine issues (e.g., misalignment, pick-up errors, feeder jams).

- Coordinate with engineering or maintenance teams for complex technical problems.

Qualification:

- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in SMT machine operation or electronics manufacturing.

- Knowledge of SMT machines (Fuji, Panasonic, Yamaha, Juki, or similar).

- Ability to set up feeders, nozzles, and production programs.

- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
