Amazon Web Services (AWS) is currently hiring for an Engineering Technician to support our data centers. The Engineering Technician will help ensure overall availability and reliability to meet or exceed defined service levels of data center operations.
The Data Center Engineering Technician will be responsible for ensuring the overall operation and maintenance of all electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment within the data center. This equipment supports mission-critical servers and must maintain better than 99.999% uptime. Basic Qualifications

- Responsible for skill gap analysis of Utility engineering operators and technicians, conducting training programs for upgrading knowledge / skills on utility management and plant safety aspects as per the department training execution plan.
- Implementation for new projects (refurbishment, modifications, new installations) in the Utility department without any SHE and quality incident within agreed budget and agreed time plan.

- Supplier's Standard & Quality development, ensure all handover tasks, solutions, skill & behavior, material, working process, report and safety are good and meet Unilever's standard.

- Provides basic technical support on assigned materials for production or customer-identified material problems.
- Helps determine inspection criteria for incoming materials.

- Acts as the focal point for all product-related technical issues.

Detailed Description
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
- Local supplier development of new PCB factories including regular audits for process compliance and technical capability assessment.
- Rapid reaction on-site for delivered PCB quality issues and problem management until the issue is resolved, driving failure analysis and corrective action through an 8D response.
- Lead PCB DFM and New Part Qualification for new projects and work with internal and external customers to drive ongoing quality improvement.
- Work under minimum supervision. Build internal and external relationships, with emphasis on those that facilitate the achievement of job/role accountabilities, such as relationships with key suppliers, customers and internal service.
- Assesses the alignment of production, support and engineering processes and practices with Celestica's Values, corporate strategies and Celestica's specific business assessment. Works as part of a team to drive supplier quality improvement and supplier technical development.
- Work with the Commodity Management team to develop the PCB supply base and evaluate and qualify new suppliers.
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies
- 5-7 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field OR equivalent combination of education and work experience
- In depth knowledge of the PCB manufacturing process is essential, the successful candidate will have worked in a PCB Fabrication facility in either a Front End/Design Review role, as a process engineer across multiple processes, or as a Field Application/DFM Engineer
- Advanced knowledge in engineering, and quality processes
- Excellent interpersonal skills and written and spoken English
- Knowledge of Automotive quality tools - APQP, FMEA, PPAP etc is preferred but not essential.
- Audit experience or auditing and industry certifications is an advantage.
