About the role
We are seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to join our team at KYOCERA AVX Components (Bangkok) Ltd. in Nakhon Ratchasima. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for the implementation and continual improvement of the plant's environmental, health, and safety management systems in alignment with Thai regulations, ISO standards (ISO 14001 & ISO 45001), and the company's ESG goals. The role ensures legal compliance, fosters a strong safety culture, drives environmental stewardship, and leverages digital tools to enhance operational effectiveness.
What you'll be doing
Environment
- Ensure full compliance with Thai laws on environmental protection (e.g., Factory Act, hazardous waste, wastewater treatment, air emissions).
- Manage and oversee the operations of the wastewater treatment system, hazardous waste storage and disposal, and precious metal reclaim processes.
- Prepare and submit required environmental reports (e.g., hazardous substances (วอ./ร.ง.), PRTR, environmental performance, carbon footprint) in a timely manner.
- Evaluate and mitigate the environmental impact of new processes before implementation.
Occupational Health & Safety
- Develop and deliver safety training programs covering topics such as confined space, chemical handling, forklifts, lockout/tagout, and emergency procedures.
- Investigate incidents and accidents; identify root causes and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with Occupational Health Service Providers to promote workplace health and wellness programs.
- Conduct regular workplace assessments for noise, heat, light, and air quality per Thai law.
System & Compliance Management
- Maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems to ensure ongoing certification and compliance.
- Lead the Emergency Response Team (ERT); plan and execute drills and preparedness activities annually.
- Liaise with government agencies (e.g., DIW, Ministry of Public Health, Environment Office) and prepare relevant documentation.
- Support audits by corporate EHS teams and follow through on corrective action plans.
Technology & Innovation
- Leverage digital tools (e.g., mobile safety inspections, digital permit-to-work, EHS dashboards) to enhance safety performance tracking and response times.
- Promote a data-driven safety culture using near-miss reporting, behavior-based safety observations, and risk modeling.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous team leadership or supervisory experience in EHS is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Thai regulatory requirements (DIW, labor law, EIA, hazardous substances).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and capable of using EHS-related platforms or dashboards.

Siemens Mobility Thailand is looking for an Environmental, Health and Safety Specialist to join Maintenance Operations team.
This is your role. What part will you play?
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist, preferably within a manufacturing or railway company. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing safety standards, identifying potential hazards, and ensuring compliance with EHS regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
The key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Develop and implement EHS plans aligned with Siemens Mobility and client requirements.
- Coordinate EHS activities and ensure staff compliance with relevant regulations.
- Conduct safety walks and inspections to identify risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Oversee environmental monitoring and review safety documentation.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and occupational illnesses with relevant stakeholders.
- Organize and lead EHS training sessions (e.g., 5S, chemical safety, emergency drills).
- Submit required safety reports to government agencies.
Use your skills to move the world forward.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related discipline, along with certification as a professional-level Safety.
- Professional relevant experience, ideally in construction, manufacturing, or railway project environments.
- Strong understanding of environmental health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership capabilities.
- Proven ability to assess risks and implement effective safety solutions.
- Flexibility to work night shifts as required during the construction phase.
- Proficient in English, with the ability to manage documentation and collaborate in a multicultural setting.

Ensure and monitor EHS & Sustainability in the workplace including the application and communication of health, safety and hazardous material standards, procedures and practices with the objective of consistence with established company, environmental and government regulations within TE Erni - Thailand. In charge of EHS for DDN construction project at the Erni site during construction period.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Planning and Budgeting
Initiate and execute annual EHS & S improvement project plan, EHS & S training plan, EHS & S internal audit plan and annual EHS & S budget
- People Management & Development
Allocate and balance work across direct reports, review and provide timely performance feedback to subordinate, coach, guide, develop and motivate them, help to resolve functional issues in the team, submit manpower request and interview candidates in order to achieve targeted function performance goal.
Develop skills of direct reports and others with EHS & S responsibilities in the organization.
- EHS Structure & Program Management
Build action plans for the implementation of the organization's EHS & S programs and take a leadership role in execution in order to deliver the organization's EHS & S goals and strategy.
o Setting up strong Safety-First culture.
o Establish and develop procedures and teams for driving EHS improvements and managing EHS programs.
o Communicate with all levels in the organization on EHS to engage with, influence and promote EHS culture.
o Follow up internal and external audit to verify EHS performance and continue improvement.
o Maintain ISO14001 and TEOA Env Incompliance tools.
o Ensure safety of construction projects in the Thailand Erni site.
o Ensure safety of plant moving, including but not limited to moving IND equipment out and DDN equipment in. As well as its installation and commissioning safety
- Reporting
Implement below tasks in order to meet the requirements of reporting.
o Report related required EHS&S data to site, BU management, BU EHS and Corporate EHS.
o Report related EHS&S data required based on applicable legal regulations and TE policies.
o Monitor and report organizational safety performance against TEOA Safety Tool.
o Evaluate and report environmental performance quarterly using TE environmental assessment tools.
- Sustainability and BCP
Focus on GHG, energy, hazardous waste & scope 3 reduction.
o Track energy reduction data.
o Work with Facility team to identify opportunities of energy reduction.
o Coordinate business continuity plan of Dongguan - China site.
o Follow Business Unit, Strategy and Corporate policy and lead scope 3 reduction of the site
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- University degree or equivalent level of qualification in safety, health,environmental,chemical, mechanical or related technical discipline
- Thailand government required qualification as company EHS manager is a MUST
- Professional EHS Certification preferred.
- Minimum 8+ years EHS experience required.
- Minimum 5+ years experience in EHS management in manufacturing.
