What to Bring:

Environment

What we're looking for

- 5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous team leadership or supervisory experience in EHS is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Thai regulatory requirements (DIW, labor law, EIA, hazardous substances).

Key Responsibilities

JOB OVERVIEWS
Ensure and monitor EHS & Sustainability in the workplace including the application and communication of health, safety and hazardous material standards, procedures and practices with the objective of consistence with established company, environmental and government regulations within TE Erni - Thailand. In charge of EHS for DDN construction project at the Erni site during construction period.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Planning and Budgeting
Initiate and execute annual EHS & S improvement project plan, EHS & S training plan, EHS & S internal audit plan and annual EHS & S budget
- People Management & Development
Allocate and balance work across direct reports, review and provide timely performance feedback to subordinate, coach, guide, develop and motivate them, help to resolve functional issues in the team, submit manpower request and interview candidates in order to achieve targeted function performance goal.
Develop skills of direct reports and others with EHS & S responsibilities in the organization.
- EHS Structure & Program Management
Build action plans for the implementation of the organization's EHS & S programs and take a leadership role in execution in order to deliver the organization's EHS & S goals and strategy.
o Setting up strong Safety-First culture.
o Establish and develop procedures and teams for driving EHS improvements and managing EHS programs.
o Communicate with all levels in the organization on EHS to engage with, influence and promote EHS culture.
o Follow up internal and external audit to verify EHS performance and continue improvement.
o Maintain ISO14001 and TEOA Env Incompliance tools.
o Ensure safety of construction projects in the Thailand Erni site.
o Ensure safety of plant moving, including but not limited to moving IND equipment out and DDN equipment in. As well as its installation and commissioning safety
- Reporting
Implement below tasks in order to meet the requirements of reporting.
o Report related required EHS&S data to site, BU management, BU EHS and Corporate EHS.
o Report related EHS&S data required based on applicable legal regulations and TE policies.
o Monitor and report organizational safety performance against TEOA Safety Tool.
o Evaluate and report environmental performance quarterly using TE environmental assessment tools.
- Sustainability and BCP
Focus on GHG, energy, hazardous waste & scope 3 reduction.
o Track energy reduction data.
o Work with Facility team to identify opportunities of energy reduction.
o Coordinate business continuity plan of Dongguan - China site.
o Follow Business Unit, Strategy and Corporate policy and lead scope 3 reduction of the site
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- University degree or equivalent level of qualification in safety, health,environmental,chemical, mechanical or related technical discipline
- Thailand government required qualification as company EHS manager is a MUST
- Professional EHS Certification preferred.
- Minimum 8+ years EHS experience required.
- Minimum 5+ years experience in EHS management in manufacturing.
- 3+ years construction safety experience is a MUST.
- Knowledge and experience on scope 3 is preferred.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist, preferably within a manufacturing or railway company. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing safety standards, identifying potential hazards, and ensuring compliance with EHS regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
The key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Develop and implement EHS plans aligned with Siemens Mobility and client requirements.
- Coordinate EHS activities and ensure staff compliance with relevant regulations.
- Conduct safety walks and inspections to identify risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Oversee environmental monitoring and review safety documentation.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and occupational illnesses with relevant stakeholders.
- Organize and lead EHS training sessions (e.g., 5S, chemical safety, emergency drills).

- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related discipline, along with certification as a professional-level Safety.
