Duties and Responsibilities

Purpose: Many investment promotion agencies (IPAs) had to adapt & rethink traditional investment promotion strategies, FDI models, and priority sectors in which to target FDI to build back better and get back on a path towards sustainable development. A key part of this rethink has been the shift towards packaging, vetting, and promoting investible opportunities in sectors related to sustainable development and towards cooperating more within regional frameworks to promote themselves to attract investment, and where feasible boost trade. In this context, ESCAP is providing technical assistance and capacity-building support to its member state IPAs to support their national and regional investment attraction and promotion work in sustainable development sectors. This project ASEAN Green Investment Catalyst (AGIC) will focus on supporting implementation of the ASEAN Regional Investment Promotion Action Plan, by boosting institutional capacity and project offerings of investment promotion agencies regionally and nationally to attract investment in green transition sectors. It aligns with ESCAP's mission to advance sustainable development and regional cooperation through capacity-building and technical assistance in investment promotion attraction at both national and regional levels. Through these activities, ESCAP aims to strengthen both national and regional approaches to investment promotion and attraction aligned with sustainable development objectives. Duties and Responsibilities: This project ASEAN Green Investment Catalyst (AGIC) will focus on supporting the implementation of the ASEAN Regional Investment Promotion Action Plan (RIPAP), by boosting institutional capacity and project offerings of investment promotion agencies regionally and nationally to attract investment in green transition sectors. The ASEAN Green Investment Catalyst (AGIC) programme is funded by the UK Mission to ASEAN under the ASEAN-UK GTF. This TOR is for a consultant to provide overall project management. Additionally, he/she will work on green transition and gender-related components of the project. Under the overall guidance and supervision of the Economic Affairs Officer, Innovation, Enterprise and Investment Section of the Trade, Investment and Innovation Division, the responsibilities are:
• The consultant will coordinate on the project's financial reporting ensuring the alignment of reports with donor guidelines, updating the project risk register to identify and mitigate risks, and managing the carbon tracker to ensure accurate reporting.
• The consultant will facilitate donor relations by engaging with Palladium and the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), preparing quarterly progress reports, and developing materials for donor calls, updates, and monthly presentations.
• Contributing on green transition initiatives and the implementation of the Gender Equality, Disability Inclusion, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) Action Plan. The consultant shall integrate these components into project activities and outputs.
• The consultant will contribute to the delivery of outputs for the UK project, including case-based reporting, and develop concept notes and outlines as needed.

Qualifications/special skills

Master's degree in economics, business, international development or related field. A minimum of two-year experience in programme management related to climate- and/or gender-responsive investment, sustainable and inclusive finance, or a related field is required. Experience working in the ASEAN region is preferred. Experience working for an international organization or development partner is preferred. Experience in promoting private sector development is preferred.

Languages

Excellent spoken communication skills in English are required.

We are seeking a Core Banking Delivery Lead to spearhead the replacement of deposits and lending core banking system for a retail and commercial bank.

The candidate should have experience in Core banking engagements and hands on skills in managing delivery of similar large, complex projects, preferably in Thailand.

This role is the primary, on site, leadership position for EY as Systems Integrator and will serve as the day-to-day interface with the client's Program Director, ensuring alignment across strategy, execution, and governance. It will be the accountable SI role managing overall delivery

Your key responsibilities:

  • Client management: Act as client point of contact on all delivery matters. Liaise with project sponsors and key stakeholders to understand and ensure project alignment with business goals and objectives. Provide strategic advisory and drive key decisions and prioritization in line with program objectives.
  • Communication: Provide timely and clear project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and fostering a collaborative environment to address challenges. Build and maintain a trusted relationship with the client's Program Leads and Executive stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance: Oversee and provide guidance delivery workstreams (business requirements, application and interface design, end-to-end testing, data migration, change management) to achieve delivery targets. Ensure alignment between business objectives, technical delivery, and vendor contributions.
  • Delivery planning: Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan, ensuring timely and quality delivery of all project milestones. Support commercial and contractual obligations including scope control, change requests, and financial tracking.
  • Delivery management: Accountable for overall project delivery (e.g. quality, client satisfaction, budget) of the project. Oversee delivery governance, including steering committee reporting, RAID management, and milestone tracking. Proactively explore and implement improvements to drive efficiency and ensure adherence to program timelines and quality standards.
  • System transition: Plan and oversee the transition from the existing core banking system to the new system, ensuring a seamless migration process.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

Senior Manager, Business Consulting - Finance Transformation (Banking Industry)

The opportunity

As a Business Consultant for Finance Transformation (Processes, Operations, and Technology), you will work with leading organizations to drive Future of Finance agenda across the entire lifecycle of the project. You will work directly with clients who are embarking on their first steps to finance transformation journey, to clients who already operating innovative financial solutions and are looking for next disruptive solutions to accelerate and deliver value through the world-class next-generation finance.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Strategize and Plan: Establish and collaborate with CFO to strategize and plan a customer-centric, digitally enabled finance vision, strategy, and operating model, aligning with enterprise goals, qualifying the case for change, and designing the transformation roadmap
  • Design and Implement: Design and implement finance operating model and To-be processes for finance and accounting functions to improve operation's efficiencies with the proper controls. Align finance technology and data with enterprise architecture, talent capabilities, and performance metrics. Lead change impact assessment and enterprise-wide change management
  • Transition and Stabilize: Manage transition activities to adopt the new operating model/ processes implementation including planning training and knowledge transfer activities
  • Optimize: Identify and prioritize opportunities to optimize finance operations through emerging technologies, supporting clients in implementation and monitoring outcomes
  • Project Management: Lead projects by managing internal and external stakeholder relationships, project economics, delivery interdependencies, and issue resolution, while handling change requests
  • Business Development: Lead and manage business development activities, including preparing proposals to support the client. Support organization of external events to build EY's eminence in the market

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor's degree in finance and Accounting, Advanced Degree and Professional Certification is an advantage
  • Minimum 15 years of recent relevant work experience in a leading business consulting organization with experiences in finance function in banking or financial services
  • Understand daily accounting, settlement, taxation, to ensure that the overall operations comply with policies, procedures, accounting standards, taxation standards, as well as Thailand regulations
  • Advance knowledge in financial system for banking
  • Exceptional analytical, innovative problem-solving skills and strategic thinking
  • Strong leadership with commitment to nurturing a learning-driven culture, coaching, and enhancing team performance

Additionally, it would be an advantage if you have

  • Experience in implementing finance technology function initiatives in business processes improvement or optimization, ERP or intelligent automation solutions
  • Experience in leading projects with elements of customer experience or digital tools

We work to assist our clients in improving and transforming business performance through, operations, processes transformation/ improvement, supply chain management, cost optimization, technology analysis and selection, Project Management (PMO), HR Transformation and Change Management for large/ complex organization and business.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Work as an integral part of KPMG Business Transformation Consulting group to manage and execute on HR transformation focusing onHR Operating Model, Strategic Workforce Planning, Process Excellence, Talent Management and HR Analytics
  • Work with client businesses throughout the project lifecycle by leveraging business performance improvement approaches and frameworks and helping to ensure timely execution of project deliverables.
  • Lead and deliver large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative and efficient business solutions for large companies.
  • Provide service excellence by identifying key client business issues, determining client needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches.
  • Project management activities including development and management of project scope, schedule, budget, issue/ risks, resources, communication, procurement, and quality.
  • Work with senior executives to develop and present KPMG Consulting offerings to the market.
  • Build long-term business relationships with key executives through engagement delivery and networking in professional organizations.

Qualifications:

  • Master/ bachelor's degree in business administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, STEMs or related fields.
  • Minimum 10 years' work experience in HR transformation and Talent Management related projects. Working with HR Consulting firms are preferrable
  • Strategy development preferred
  • Ability to participate in the development and presentation of proposals for business development activities.
  • Strong data-driven mindset and data analytical skill
  • Strong communication and presentation capability
  • Excellent creativity, adaptability, analytical, problem solving and project management skills with agility mindset
  • Proficiency in spoken and written Thai and English.
  • Relevant Certification e.g. Lean, Six sigma, PMP, SAP, Oracle will be an advantage
  • Ability to big picture thinking and managing details
  • Experience in people/team development and coaching
  • Good understanding on system and emerging technology (e.g. ERP, RPA, IOT) will be an advantage
