Primary Function

Serving as a key leader in overseeing all mechanical operations within the plant. Ensuring machinery and systems run efficiently while meeting safety, quality, and engineering standards. Leading preventive maintenance planning, troubleshooting breakdowns, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to maximize equipment reliability.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing a team of mechanical technicians to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Planning, executing, and overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Analyzing equipment breakdowns using RCFA, MTTR, and MTBF data, and adjusting PM plans accordingly.
• Coordinating and managing engineering projects, including upgrades and cost-saving initiatives.
• Collaborating with cross-functional internal teams and external service providers (regional and global).
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Monitoring and controlling engineering budgets and spare parts inventory.
• Maintaining accurate technical reports and documentation for audits and internal reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (maintenance or project engineering roles).
• Proficient in SAP (minimum 3 years), AutoCAD or SolidWorks, and digital factory tools.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good command of English (both spoken and written).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of TPM, OEE, and maintenance best practices is a plus.

• Resource planning and work scheduling for planned and unplanned maintenance work.
• Prepare & timely review & take care of maintenance management system and maintenance program
• Manage and control quality of work, maintenance cost, work schedule, sub-contractor and maintenance crew, safety at work
• Troubleshooting, repair & overhauling equipment, and root cause analysis.
• Involvement in equipment or plant modification & improvement programs.
• Bidding for and bid evaluation of maintenance subcontractor.
• Lead maintenance crew to drive productivity improvement activities.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum GPA of 2.7 for Bachelor or 3.3 for Master
• 0-5 years of experience in Maintenance
• Prior experience in Petrochemical or Oil & Gas Plants is an advantage.
• Willing to work in Rayong province.
• TOEIC score of 550 or higher.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to oversee engineering, construction, and maintenance activities for our plant. The role ensures safety, reliability, and timely project execution in compliance with technical standards.

Key Responsibilities:
