Qualifications & Skills

Your 'day to day'

As a Manager Trade Engagement, you will oversee the development and execution of trade programs that align with portfolio objectives and market dynamics. You'll work closely with field forces, portfolio teams, and commercial stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and strategic alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shape Strategy with Insight: Define and guide trade engagement plans across channels. Oversee segmentation, retailer platforms, and visibility initiatives to position the business as a preferred partner.
  • Design Digitally-Led Trade Engagement: Develop strategies that position digital platforms for trade activities. Align campaign direction with trade partners' digital behaviors and business objectives.
  • Own Investment Decisions: Manage budget allocation and outlet selection to ensure efficient investment and maximize returns across trade initiatives.
  • Drive Program Excellence: Support the successful execution of trade programs by setting clear direction, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring measurable outcomes.
  • Grow and Empower the Team: Coach and develop the team to foster ownership, collaboration, and a mindset of continuous growth, while ensuring alignment with legal and corporate standards.

Who we're looking for

  • Master's degree in a relevant field (Marketing, Business, Digital Content etc.)
  • 10+ years of experience in strategic trade engagement or commercial planning within multinational FMCG environments
  • Proven strategic thinking with strong leadership and practical execution capabilities
  • Demonstrated experience in managing teams, budgets, and cross-functional initiatives
  • Proficient in digital tools and data platforms, such as Power BI
  • Strong communication skills in both Thai and English, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions and levels
