Run sold room reports, verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update status of departing guest rooms. Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk. Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in room assignments. Communicate issues to next shift. Complete required paperwork.
Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.

What will I be doing?
As the Floor Supervisor, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Responsible for the highest standard of cleaning on assigned floors and guestrooms during your shift.
Work closely with the front desk team to ensure correct room status at all times.
Ensure guest privacy is respected when DND status is displayed.
Supervise the turndown service.
Responsible for strict key control.
Regularly inspect guest floor corridors and public areas.
Report maintenance issues promptly to Engineering.
Ensure compliance of lost and found procedures.
Keep floors, linen rooms and pantries neat and tidy.
Monitor productivity of the assigned Room Attendant.
Check team members' grooming, personal hygiene and appearance.
Assist with team members' training and development.
Provide ongoing advice and support to team members under your supervision.
Provide one to one instruction to team members when required.
Seek opportunities to improve guest service consistently from guests' comments.
Take appropriate action to resolve guests' complaints.
Ensure all reports are completed on a timely basis.
Adhere by the hotel's policies and procedures, Hilton code of business conduct, the hotel's team member handbook, security and emergency policies and procedures.
Perform any duties assigned by the Management team deemed necessary.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, housekeeping Opera and OnQ systems.
Actively listen to others and build on good ideas.

Purpose of the Role:
To assist and support the General Manager and Deputy Store Manager in the daily running of the department. Lead the commercial and visual aspects of the department while managing the team to ensure sales, customer service, and operational excellence. 
Key Responsibilities:
1. Commercial & Visual Management
- Good understanding of retail management tools such as Gestion Retail, Merchan App, and Delivery App.
 - Ensure the shopfloor layout and new lines are merchandised according to company guidelines.
 - Analyze daily performance information and take appropriate actions.
 - Plan commercial and visual activities on a daily, weekly, and seasonal basis.
 - Monitor product levels in the store and maintain appropriate stock.
 
2. Team Management

3. Shopfloor & Sales Management

 - Monitor daily and monthly budgets to meet and exceed targets.
 - Communicate daily with management regarding personnel and product updates.
 - Ensure standards are maintained throughout the day and at store closing.
 
4. Health & Safety
- Maintain good housekeeping throughout the store.
 - Report any incidents or risks to senior management.
 - Be aware of employee and customer safety risks and follow company procedures to mitigate them.
 
5. Customer Service
- Ensure a high level of customer service at all times.
 - Understand different customer needs and adapt the team accordingly.
 - Treat customers as a top priority, being friendly and helpful.
 - Reinforce company return policies.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven retail experience in a fast-paced fashion or commercial environment

A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:
● Making sure every single room is at its absolute best for our guests
● Helping our guests in any way you can - whether they've forgotten their toothbrush or just need to find the elevator
● Keeping your supervisor in the loop by advising them of any progress or problems
● Monitoring and controlling supplies to minimise waste
● Doing your best to reunite guests with any lost or misplaced items
● Regularly assisting with deep clean projects
What We need from you:
● It's a physical role and you'll be on your feet most of the day, so fitness is important
● Occasional lifting of items up to 50 pounds / 23 kilograms and or push/pulling heavy objects
● You may need to bend and kneel to complete some activities
● Literacy skills - reading, writing and basic maths skills
● Flexible attitude to shifts - you may be required to work nights, weekends and/or holidays
