Job Description: Fundraising & Investor Relations Manager
Department: Business Development
Reports to: President & Group CEO/Senior Vice President – Business Development
Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven Fundraising & Investor Relations Manager to lead our capital-raising activities and manage relationships with investors for primarily our Build Operate Sell (private equity like) business model. This role focuses on sell-side fundraising for our investment projects, including hospitality, real estate, and other portfolio businesses. The ideal candidate will bring experience from private banking, wealth management, or high-net-worth (HNW) client advisory, with a strong network of investors and proven ability to close investment deals.
Key Responsibilities:
Fundraising (Sell Side Focus)
- Identify, engage, and secure funding from high-net-worth individuals, family offices, private equity, and institutional investors.
 - Develop and execute fundraising strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives.
 - Present investment opportunities, conduct roadshows, and prepare tailored investment proposals.
 - Negotiate terms and close investment deals to meet fundraising targets.
 
Investor Relations
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective investors, providing regular business updates.
 - Coordinate investor meetings, events, and site visits.
 - Manage investor communication materials including investment decks, fact sheets, and performance reports.
 
Market & Network Development
- Leverage private banking / wealth management background to expand investor base.
 - Keep abreast of market trends, competitor fundraising activities, and investor preferences.
 - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely investment information is shared.
 
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field (Master's degree or CFA would be beneficial).
 - Minimum 5 years' experience in private banking, wealth management, or fundraising for investment projects.
 - Proven track record of capital raising and relationship management with HNW clients or institutional investors.
 - Strong network within the investment community (private banking, family offices, PE funds).
 - Excellent presentation, negotiation, and deal-closing skills.
 - Ability to work independently with high accountability and performance-driven mindset.
 - Strong command of English; proficiency in other languages is an advantage.
