Strategic HR Business Partnering

As the Head of HR Business Partners, your mission is to build and shape impactful people strategies in direct collaboration with business leaders. You will lead a team of strategic partners embedded within our core business units, ensuring our talent, performance, and engagement initiatives are created to drive tangible results and support our teams on the front lines. This is a leadership role for a commercially-minded HR professional who thrives on building relationships, creating solutions, and influencing positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Business Partnership:
    Partner with senior business leaders to develop and execute HR strategies that align with their unit's goals, including organizational design, workforce planning, and talent development.
  • Team Leadership & Development:
    Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of HRBPs, fostering a culture of proactive partnership, data-driven consultation, and continuous improvement.
  • Talent & Performance Enablement:
    Guide talent review, succession planning, and performance management cycles within your assigned business units, ensuring a robust pipeline of future leaders and a culture of high performance and growth.
  • Employee Advocacy & Leadership Coaching:
    Provide expert guidance and coaching to senior leaders on complex employee relations, conflict resolution, and change management, always acting as an advocate for a fair and positive employee experience.
  • Data-Driven Insights:
    Utilize people analytics to identify trends and provide insights to business leaders, helping them make informed decisions about their teams and talent.
  • Collaboration with HR Centers of Excellence:
    Work closely with colleagues in Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and Learning & Development to deliver seamless and comprehensive support to the business.

The Ideal Candidate: A Profile of Influence & Commercial Acumen

  • Proven HRBP Leadership & Builder:
    A minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years leading an HRBP team. You have a track record of not just managing, but actively building and scaling the function to be a strategic force within the business.
  • Demonstrated Commitment:
    A track record of stability, including a minimum tenure of 3 years at one company.
  • Deep Business Acumen:
    A strong understanding of business operations and financial metrics, with a proven ability to link people initiatives to business success.
  • Stakeholder Partnership:
    Exceptional influencing, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build credibility and trust with senior executives.
  • Problem-Solving Skills:
    Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a solutions-oriented mindset.
