**Your day at NTT DATA**
As a DATA Centre Technical Architect at NTT DATA, you will be the cornerstone for designing and implementing top-notch DATA centre infrastructures. You will work hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams to transform business requirements into efficient and reliable DATA centre solutions as part of our pre-sales process.
You will be responsible for the entire architecture, including servers, storage systems, networking equipment, power and cooling systems, and physical security measures. Your role will require evaluating and recommending DATA centre services to align with our business needs, ensuring top security and compliance standards.
Your strategic input will be crucial as you analyse, develop, and recommend long-term plans to ensure our DATA centres meet both current and future requirements. As a trusted technical advisor, you will provide guidance and support to development teams during the implementation of collaborative solutions.
You will design and optimize network architectures using technologies like VMware, Hyper-V, and KVM, ensuring they perform optimally and are highly scalable and secure. From managing client proof-of-concept initiatives to producing comprehensive technical documentation and specifications, your expertise will ensure our solutions achieve client objectives effectively.
You will be influential in guiding members of the Sales team, ensuring they are equipped to close deals and maintain forecasting and sales pipelines. Handling scope of work determination, product pricing, and rFP/rFI responses will also be part of your remit.
**To thrive in this role, you need to have:**
+ Comprehensive knowledge of DATA centre infrastructure components, networking technologies, and virtualization (such as VMware, Hyper-V, and KVM).
+ A good understanding of DATA centre security principles, compliance standards, and best practices.
+ Proficiency in designing and implementing network architectures, including LAN, WAN, and virtual networking technologies.
+ Expertise in server and storage technologies such as virtualization, blade servers, SAN, NAS, and DATA backup and recovery systems.
+ Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and services, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
+ Extensive experience in a professional technical role within a large-scale, preferably multinational, technology services environment.
+ Good client engagement skills coupled with strong technical consulting aptitude.
+ The ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

**Your day at NTT DATA**
As a Senior Associate Security Technical Architect at NTT DATA, you'll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design robust security architectures for our systems, applications, and infrastructure. Your role is crucial for ensuring that our technology solutions are secure, compliant, and aligned with industry best practices, thereby protecting sensitive DATA and mitigating risks.
Your expertise will be called upon to design and develop comprehensive security architectures that cater to both current and future needs. You will integrate security requirements into the system design and development lifecycle, collaborating with stakeholders such as developers, engineers, and project managers to embed security seamlessly into our operations.
You'll provide pre-sales technical support and expertise in analyzing client requirements, leveraging your knowledge in secure coding practices, network security, identity and access management, and DATA protection. **Your day at NTT DATA**
The Senior Associate Cloud Technical Architect is a developing subject matter expert, responsible for supporting the design and may be required to implement cloud-based solutions that meet client's business and technical requirements.
This role supports sales teams by providing expertise in cloud computing technologies and architectures ensuring the effective design, deployment and operation of our cloud-based systems to meet client needs.
**What you'll be doing**
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Collaborates with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
+ Viewed as a trusted technical advisor to the client and ensure technical solutions will accomplish the client's objectives
+ Designs and architects less complex cloud-based systems, ensuring high availability, scalability, performance, and reliability.
+ Provides pre-sales technical support and know-how in analyzing client requirements, in conjunction with the client's current collaboration capabilities.
+ Assesses existing systems and develop migration strategies to transition on-premises applications and infrastructure to the cloud.

+ Specifically relating to opportunity pursuit this role will evaluate each opportunity for alignment with organizational capabilities and business policy, prepare the executive summary that outlines all of the information gathered from the client in regards to their needs, as understood, document the proposed technology solution, document the statement of work along with all labor requirements, work with the relevant internal stakeholders to prepare the pricing format that will be supplied to the customer, perform the actual solution design and prepare a parts list outlining equipment to be provided, develop and manage a proof-of-concept as such may be required, engage all technical resources required for an accurate solution design, prepare a network diagram outlining the proposed solution, document all deliverables and what constitutes a successful completion, review the final parts list as supplied and submit all information to the applicable bid team for final assembly, verify the proposal's accuracy and sign off on the final documents to be presented to the client, assist during the final presentation to the client as appropriate.

**Academic Qualifications and Certifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or information systems or related field.

**Required Experience:**
+ Moderate level technical experience within a large scale (preferably multi-national) technology services environment.
+ Moderate level experience as a Cloud Technical Architect or a similar role, designing and implementing cloud architectures for complex systems and applications.
+ Moderate level experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions, preferably using leading cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
+ Moderate level experience in project management methodologies.
